The room is indeed cosy, I like the concept of Capsule. The decoration is nice and original. The bed is very comfortable and everything looks brand new.

What better way to unwind after a day’s sightseeing than relaxing in a health and wellness spa? Spa hotels focus on maximum relaxation for their guests, with luxury features like hot tubs, thermal pools and professional massage services. Some spa hotels use mineral-rich water pumped straight out of the ground, helping to maintain and restore good health.
An amazing house that really made us feel like being a (very well off) local in Douai! Our family of six loved all the three beautifully decorated floors, but our favourite was the gym on the top floor with a proper massage table and punching bag. As a bonus we were able to do our laundry with excellent appliances – it really helped on our European road trip. The location is simply perfect to both drive to and park, and then walk to the central pedestrian streets.
Location is excellent, easy to find, and private car parking. Close to the centre of Douai and all the shops and restaurants.
Breakfast was amazing, it was very fresh as most was bought that morning, and there was lots of choice.
Rooms are beautiful, as is the house, they are very spacious and clean.

Once we got in it was very nice. Host very friendly and helpful. Private garden lovely - though unfortunately rainy weather prevented taking advantage. Very quiet. Very calm. Interesting artefacts to see in house. Spacious room with very comfortable bed. Good heating and good shower. Good recommendations for excellent nearby restaurant. Quality ingredients in breakfast - real fresh orange juice for example. Not for those who like something modern though.
Breakfast was excellent, choice of continental or full English, croissants, jam, cake. Hosts spoke English and were very friendly and welcoming. Accomodation was clean, spacious and well equipped.
The room was spacious and on two levels, everything you needed, clean and comfortable.
The welcome we received from our hosts was second to none. The lounge and breakfast room were so wonderfully decorated. The breakfast was something else, homemade carrot, orange and ginger juice, fabulous. Homemade bread, preserves, cinnamon pancakes, and cake. Also pastries, local cheese that was to die for. I really didn’t want to leave. Really exceptional.
The building is incredible with lots of outdoor space and close to the town.Rooms are very large with lovely old furniture. What really made our stay was the exceptional service. Charles the manager was very informative and gave us lots of details about the history of the house as he showed us around,and had enormous enthusiasm. Breakfast was really good if a bit pricey. Can’t wait to go back again
Everything was excelent. The location nearby the center, the room clean, spacious. The breakfast was realy good, with fresh orange juice. The host was super nice, helped us with everything.
This is an outstanding bed and breakfast. A beautiful house is maintained with great taste and elegance by the hosts who welcome you warmly to their residence. The rooms are spacious and convenient to work from, the location central and the breakfast is fabulous. I had diet preferences, and Isabelle catered to them without compromising her high standards for natural and organic ingredients.
