We stayed 4 nights at Takuma and we really loved it! Beautiful construction, thoughtful decor and garden, awesome pool, quiet and relaxing ambiance... The perfect vacation package! The breakfast was great, the owners and entire staff was nice and welcoming, special kudos to the cleaning staff as they did a great job keeping our room pristine even though there were 4 of us! The location is close to all the restaurants, stores and the beach, which we enjoyed a lot. Bravo 👏

Is not easy start, because we enjoyed all they offer there , but human quality of Noemi & Jonathan and all the staff, the care they have with the guests, the details and the Nature around, the kitchen and the delicious food (BEST Piña colada 00 alc. ever tasted ) and the sweet dogs (Loba and the old pack) made our days in Samana a one Life experience. If you want enjoy las Terrenas, sun bath and beach lovers should add calm and peace in mornings and evenings in this really special place. I want also mention the good beds, hot showers and delicious breakfast and the impressive green views and songs of tons of birdlife.

This place is really quiet and serene. Grounds are beautiful. The breakfast is fresh and great each day though there's no variation, however I didn't mind. Simply exceptional. For me, the value for money was off the charts, maybe because I got a good deal. I have been to many hotels with various prices and I must repeat that in this case the value for money was simply incredible. A wide variety of food (3 restaurants + buffet), 2 bars with a bunch of different drinks, entertainment in the evenings and nights, an amazing beach with kayaks, surfing etc. and sports.
