We absolutely loved Vila Guara. Beautiful, romantic, enchanting, full of charm and nature. The staff, all of them, was amazing and everyone went out of their way to help, make your stay wonderful and please. Very comfortable bed. No need for air conditioning because the room was so airy. There is a mosquito net but I recommend to bring repellents. Everything is built out of wood, open to the outside and wherever you look you have fantastic views of the gardens and the beach and river. The location couldn’t be better (Atins is very big and spread out), close to - kite surfing (they have their own center in the property), village center, restaurants, horse riding, dunes. The food in the hotel restaurant is excellent and tasty. It was a dream stay, one that remain etched in the memory for years.

We highly recommend this hotel, we stayed in November off season and it was very peaceful and quiet, on most days we had a pool and outdoor restaurant all to ourselves.
The whole of territory is secure, the actual room small but cosy, we had a balcony with the view over the palm trees and amazing pink sky over them during sunset.
The breakfast was excellent with lots of variety and many exotic fruit!
If we ever come back to this area we’ll stay here again.

Superb, super-friendly hotel. The staff were very friendly and the location is perfect. The breakfast was very good and the river 100m away was perfect for relaxing in a hammock.
pousada is managed by an older, super friendly couple. You will receive a warm welcome and immediately feel at home. Spacious room with nice shower. Copious breakfast. Our private tours were arranged quickly and efficiently by Dona Regina. And tips regarding restaurants and places to stop were great. Don't hesitate, this is a unique address to spend the night!
We stayed one night before we entered the national park and another after we left it. The room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. Breakfast was rich and even had a corner for vegans, where I found almond milk!
Everything was great. Nice breakfast in front of the river, hammocks... a very relaxing time.
The staff was great. Gildo was always willing to help, giving tips on things to do, restaurants to go to, arranging the transfers with them...

Fantastic place to stay in Barreirinhas. Really top class service, food, accommodation, facilities and more. It’s a large complex, very well designed, with so much to do. We only left the premises once to go for dinner in the town, otherwise everything was readily available. Beautiful wide-ranging breakfast, great food overall, 3 swimming pools, a kids play area, sauna, massage, kayaking, easy access to excellent tours, friendly staff and a lovely clientele. A hammock outside each room was a very nice touch. Highly, highly recommended.
directly at the river beach so you can swim in the refreshing water which is awesome. the staff is fantastic and friendly. the rooms are clean and spacious. the breakfast is delicious with home made tapioca and fresh juices. very lovely decorated to relax. only 10 min walk or 15BRS taxi of 5mins to port where all the tourists are and the boats leave :)
