The location was tucked away in a small forest up in the Seiser Alm plateau. Peaceful and beautiful with an abundance of snowy hikes, cross country and alpine skiing from the front door. The hotel is modern traditional, not too fancy and showy but a perfect blend of the natural beauty surrounding it. The food in the restaurant was excellent but the service from the wonderful staff was what made the hotel and restaurant really special. We loved it so much we extended our stay and will definitely return.

I messaged about my food allergies. I called ahead about them. I spoke with reception when I checked in. There is no reason why when my meal was served there were multiple courses that I couldn't eat for risk of being sent to a hospital. No apologies were given or offer for any other food. I was trapped on a mountain, couldn't eat the food I was given and had no way to get any other food. I've stayed at dozens of half-board places before and this was the first where I went to bed without eating because it wasn't safe.

location was perfect, right in the center of Compatsch with parking. Within walking distance of the ski lifts and hiking trails, very clean and food was excellent. Dinner was prepared by a chef fresh each evening, many courses at a fixed price of 20 euro per person, well worth it. we had to add our daughter last minute and the staff was helpful at finding us a solution. Very comfortable beds and quiet area, I highly recommend it!
