Lovely big house. Very cool in the heat! Every room had an en suite shower, which was great. We were jsut four but you could easily accommodate more. The house had pretty much everything you could need and a nice homely vibe. Comms before we arrived were very good (a nice lady called Anna) and host (Guy, based a few hours away) was very nice when we had to call him. Beautiful location - Bareges is a lovely little mountain village from where you can hike directly or head out to nearby trail heads (although it is very small so food and restaurant options are limited and what is there have specific times; but Luz is a short drive down the road and has more shops and restaurants if needed). There was local jazz festival when we were there and they had a sweet band playing in the town square and all the locals out enjoying some wine an cheese :)

Excellent location in centre of town with free ski bus stop opposite the hotel entrance. Breakfasts were excellent as where the two evening meals we had in the hotel restaurant. We would especially recommend the Fondue/Raclette. Hotel and rooms were kept spotlessly clean. Very friendly and helpful staff.
