I can't even begin to describe how perfect Ravenna lodge is. The lodge itself is extremely well appointed. A great kitchen, lovely heating options, beds, and the views are amazing. Our hosts were fantastic and the most welcoming and supportive we've ever had. We were lucky enough to stay when the christmas market was on which made it all the more special. Cannot wait to come back. It was the best stay we have had anywhere in the world.

The apartment was clean and easy to find with plenty of room and was really comfortable. It had everything I needed and I loved having outside space. There’s a small supermarket and a restaurant in the village and more shops, restaurants and cafes in the nearby town. It’s really well positioned for visiting local lakes and hiking trails, and there are trails right on the doorstep too. Drive back to Freiburg was only an hour.

It was tucked away a couple of miles off the main road with spectacular distant views over the black forest areas. Fabulous sunsets, peaceful and quiet with cows grazing next to the property. This apartment is excellent from the technical point of view. We had the ground floor apartment, which has a very nice terrace. The house also has a swimming pool, which looked very nice but unfortunately the weather did not permit us to use it. The equipments, appliances and materials of the apartment are new and of good quality. The sauna is very nice, too. However, the wifi is not very efficient.
