Wafo hotel was lovely! A boutique style chalet hotel that is brand new in 2023. The room was clean, bedding of high quality and a territorial view from our room. The common area, desk staff, bar and breakfast room are all in one large space. Lots of comfortable seating with a fireplace view and windows looking out on the beautiful grounds and mountains surrounding the setting. Nicolof and Christoper were great hosts and Sunshine the dog is equally friendly. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk (paved sidewalk) from the bus/train stop which is at the edge of town. A few good looking restaurants and shops are very close. The tourism office is at the bus stop. There are rental shops in town, within a short walk. The train to Villars is easy to reach from the bus stop. Villars is about a 10 minute train ride. Villars is a busy resort area. Gryon is much quieter which was exactly our preference. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful, including coffee any way you like it, juices, cereals, boiled eggs, fresh bread, meats, cheeses and other goodies. In the evening the bar is open with beers, wines, NA beers, cocktails and soft drinks. I will be staying here every time I can return. All positive comments from our stay! Fully recommend this lovely hotel for a visit to the area!

Amazing chalet, with a wonderful view and the best facilities. The bedrooms are very nice and spacious and the big bedroom is simply outstanding. The place was very clean, modern and cosy. Beautiful old chalet nicely renovated in the heart of Gryon. Fully equipped with a central fire place. Nothing is missing. Parking available. We felt like at friends who would have prepared the place for us. The chalet is in a walking distance from Gryon train station to the ski area.

The location was spectacular- right out of a dream. The house was perfect for my family and offered all the amenities one could want- but more than that, it made it feel like you were in a mountain get-away. The location was perfect- with an easy to follow path right to town with restaurants and shops. The host greeted us with warm tea- which set the tone for a memorable stay. Can't wait to come back!
