Really beautiful and peaceful location. Excellent hosts, we were met on arrival by the hosts daughter as she speaks English. We had everything we needed for our stay for the week. We hired a car to get around. Steep climb up to the farm but amazing views. Lots of places to visit including the castle, the lakes and Salzburg itself. If you go into Werfen, you can get your shopping done, go to a few bars or restaurants and also do the sound of music trail - although there is a bit of diversion, but well worth the walk up to the picnic spot. Alternatively, you can drive up to it too. Lovely surroundings and the animals at the farm were great to have around too. You can do as much or as little as you wish. It was wonderful overall. Location of the apartment is great, just 30 mins from big ski centers (Flachau, Schladming,....). Apartment was new, clean and fully equipped, great for summer or winter vacation.

The house is located in the city centre :) The view from the window is stunning. Great spot for nearby skiing with only 20mins to skiamade resorts. The house is full and well equipped. There is so much space that 9 people felt comfortable. The owner is super friendly. I strongly recommend this place. And remember. It is next to the old church so be prepared for bells ringing at 6.00 am. :)

The Rettenbachgut is an organic farm in a quiet location 2 km from the centre of Werfen and 7 km from the Werfenweng Ski Area. The main building is a renovated 900-year-old farmhouse. The garden includes a children’s playground and a sunbathing lawn.

Guests can visit a number of ski resorts such as the Werfenweng Ski Board Wander Arena, which is only 8 minutes by car away, or Ski Amadé, which is 20 km from Werfenerhof Hotel. The free ski bus stops right in front of the hotel.
