Summer and winter hiking trails start just outside and there is a tennis court 150 metres away. A ski school and nearest ski lift are a 5-minute walk from the property. Cross-country skiing trails also begin right outside the door. The Grossglockner Resort can be reached by car in 15 minutes.

The rooms were quaint, private, clean, and had great views. We did not mind being on the top floor. The breakfasts were perfect with a great array of meats, cheeses, and selection of breads. The proprietors, Albert and Conny were kind and welcoming. There was even a great restaurant just a short walk across the street at Gasthof Islitzler.
