Beautiful location! Just a few minutes from Neuschwanstein. So great to be in this beautiful area with incredible walks in the morning. The owners breed horses which were amazing. We got to interact with a 3-day old foal. Lots of space. Unbelievable view from the living room, kitchen and our bedroom. The hosts were very friendly and helpful with suggestions. They recommended High179, a 400 meter long suspension bridge 15 minutes away which was a blast! We would definitely stay there again. Note: Two of the pictures are taken from the apartment. Built in 1853 and right on the picturesque Fürstenweg, a small path leading to Neuschwanstein Castle, Gutshof zum Schluxen enjoys a quiet location in the middle of fields with grazing cows and horses, and Queen Marie von Bayern stayed here with her sons Ludwig and Otto. Füssen and Reutte are only a 10-minute drive away.

In winter, a cross-country ski run is right outside Gutshof zum Schluxen. The nearest ski area is 12 km away.
