Freshly upgraded and modern, very spacious and clean. Right on the main thoroughfare so easy to find. Nice beds, furniture and very nice walk-in shower. Even had a jacuzzi tub but never had a chance to use it.

Beautifully presented seaside cottage located just across the road from the beach. Was spotless with all the comforts of home and very dog friendly. All the amenities there to cook a meal with a well-equipped kitchen. Enjoyed sitting around the cozy electric fire, listening to the vinyle records. Had such a good sleep in the very comfortable beds. Shower water pressure was excellent. The perfect place to relax and recharge.

The kitchen had plenty of room for everyone. I didn’t have to wait for a shower. It was right next to a good restaurant.
This was a quirky place with an interesting owner. We stayed in Ruepehu House with just 4 of us. It’s huge (sleeps 10) and well equipped with a wood fire and big kitchen.
Idyllic Country Garden was very well located for lovely Waikanae Beach and Queen Elizabeth Park and the delightful Kapiti Coast. The hosts were very welcoming and helpful, the outside terrace and barbecue were good and there was a very well equipped kitchen for all our self catering needs. The inside seating area was comfortable as well.
The kitchenette was perfect for self catering.
Comfortable budget accommodation. great lounge/kitchen area if self catering. and/or get rained in! Owners are working on enhancements which will only make this property better.
Location was great - a short drive to the centre, and away from the hustle and revelry that might disturb families with young kids trying to get to sleep. It was very clean, and the staff were lovely and helpful with information. Despite the wintry weather, it was toasty warm with the heat pump, and there were plenty of blankets to keep you warm at night. It had all you’d need for basic self catering in a roomy kitchen, and lovely views of the mountain and fields from the windows.
