Its location is close to the city center and a newly and pleasant developed shopping center. The room is clean and the bed is firm. We were impressed that the gentleman took us to the airport around 1:40am as promised very prompt.

The property is around 7.6 km from Parque Viva, 18 km from Parque Diversiones and 19 km from Estadio Nacional de Costa Rica. The accommodation features a shared kitchen, a 24-hour front desk and organising tours for guests. I arrived in early July very late one night as a solo woman traveler, and when I reached the hostel I was immediately relieved. The garden atmosphere (and geckos!) and kind staff helped me make a smooth transition into Costa Rica. This was my first time staying at a hostel and it was wonderful. My room had 3 other beds but no one else was there. There was ample space for storing luggage, a fan to keep the room cool, and a bathroom that had shower soap, shampoo, & conditioner included! Additionally, the breakfast was wonderful (and included!), there was plenty of filtered water to drink, and the garden attached to the dining area has beautiful seating and lush greenery alongside a fountain with fish and baby sharks! I am so glad this was my first impression of Costa Rica! Pura vida!

The flat is incredibly well furnished - she has thought of all the little details that make your stay very comfortable and feel like home. The beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped, it lacked nothing. The location is great. Walking distance to shops, restaurants etc. and 10 minutes drive to the airport. Had a private garage to park our car. A great value for money. Definitely recommend it before a flight in or out of Costa Rica.

The hotel has a hot tub, a shared kitchen and free WiFi throughout the property. The family that runs it were so sweet and everything was beautiful. The breakfast was delicious and the accommodations were impeccable!

On our way from the airport to Edward we got scammed by an unofficial “taxi” who tried to raise the price and drove in circles in a shady area. We called Edward from the way and he stayed on the line with us until we got to the place. He also waited outside and helped us with handling the payment to the scammers. He really made us feel secure and welcome in Costa Rica. Other than that we had a great stay, the room is big and accommodating and the breakfast was great. Edward offers shuttles from and to the airport which we will use next time around. Overall, We highly recommend Edward’s place

The garden with a view to the volcano was amazing. The area is very tranquil.

Guests staying at this bed and breakfast have access to a patio. The accommodation offers a shared kitchen and a concierge service for guests. Very friendly hosts, very quiet and a good nights sleep after alot of travelling. will be staying again and highly recommend Alexander B&B. Great breakfast and coffee too.
