The view from the room was incredible - the fact that you could wake up, open the curtains and have that amazing ocean view right there, it made it the most relaxing vacation we've ever had. You are able to walk for miles from your room along the Wild Pacific Trail - no need to drive unless you want to. The breakfast was exceptional - the homemade scones were second to none. Every detail in the room was well thought out - the spa-like bathroom, super soft robes, the stocked kitchenette, the cozy bed, they didn't leave anything out! The hosts were friendly, knowledgeable, and genuinely welcoming. It was our first visit to Ucluelet and because of them, it will be the first of many.

Every little detail has been thought of at The Francis Boutique Inn- from the lovely gift & the little welcome note, ease of check in and check out, and of course the facilities (nothing better than a dry sauna and hot tub after a full day of hiking!). Such quality interior, with little luxuries scattered throughout like the coffee & the bathroom items. The bed is so comfortable bed; and it has a beautiful deep bath; lovely fluffy towels and a great rainfall shower with excellent pressure. The soft furnishings are really luxurious too (love the blanket!) and having streaming on the smart TV was also a bonus. The staff were so attentive and intuitive and couldn’t have been more suited to such a gorgeous property. Without a doubt the best hotel I have ever stayed in, and I have travelled to a fair few! 10 out of 10 in ever way.

Each cottage features a comfortably furnished lounge with a flat-screen cable TV. Select units at Driftwood by the Sea Inn offer a terrace with ocean views. Maximum Two (2) Guests for each Cottage. Sorry, no Pets/Smoking/Children. Location was great for what we were looking for. The kitchenette had everything we needed to cook and save on expenses. Bed was comfortable and everything was clean.

The spacious cottages have a full kitchen. Everything! Lisa is a great host - she gives you a card with her cell number when she welcomes you so you have the option to text her if you need anything. The cabin's bed and shower were luxurious; the kitchen was spotless, well laid out and well equipped; the space was perfectly designed for a couple with lovely little design touches. The bed is so comfortable we asked about the brand so we can look at purchasing one for home (Lisa answered promptly and said she gets that question from lots of guests). Some particular highlights are the covered deck with Adirondack-style chairs and glass panels to keep the view of the ocean; the BBQ; the tap water (cold and pure); the fridge with a separate compartment freezer; gas/propane burners in the kitchen; and the shelf system in the bedroom. Finally, the location is fantastic - you're close enough to town to make it a quick trip, but far enough away that you get serenaded by frogs if you're out in the evening (a rural treat).
