Loved the locality to methven . Easy walking distance to shops and restaurants.
Loved that it was in a quiet road and property at back of section. Peaceful and quiet. Loved the attention to detail in the accommodation.- furnishings, toiletries, perfect size for a couple. Use of spa pool was a bonus. Unfortunately no star gazing as overcast both nights we stayed.
Loved that the owners renovated the main house and have kept it for generations to enjoy

The energy, cleanliness and extremely comfortable beds
Facilities are great and comfy room. The place has an amazing spa, pool table, swimming pool, games room, kitchen, not to mention a great location. Gordy (the Manage) and the staff are amazing and always there to make sure you have a great stay. Definitely recommend and will stay there again going back to Methven.
We were pleasantly surprised on our arrival at the lodge. Very friendly staff and our room and ensuite was inviting and very clean.
The kitchen was very well equipped and had a lovely homely feel, with a lovely Logitech. The lounge had very comfy sofas to sink into for a pleasant read or to watch TV
Our apartment was great. We had a beautiful view from the lounge, the kitchen was iexceptiinally well equipped, our beds were comfortable and we were warm.
We loved the spa and the nearby kids 0kayground was a bonus.
Location was great, just in the center of Methven. Room was clean, warm and looked nice. Staff was very helpful and nice. Big living room/kitchen with equipment and fireplace. Upstairs there was gaming-/tv-room with comfortable sofas. Great place in every way and not too expensive.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Ski Pad. Great location! Close to many eateries and supermarkets.
The house was lovely and warm and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom and shower were great and the addition of being able to use the fireplace was such a bonus - made the house so toasty!! Kitchen was very well equipped and the host left detailed instructions for our stay. Nice and quiet location with an easy check in process! Would definitely recommend and would choose to stay here again in the future!
The Studio was just beautiful! Very spacious and well appointed to relax and enjoy. Absolutely spotlessly clean and well equipped kitchenette. The toiletries were beautiful products and the bed was so comfy! Amazing hosts and we loved meeting the sheep! Great location close to town.
Friendly owners who greeted us warmly on arrival. The bed was comfy bed and kitchen and bathroom were clean and functional. The view of mount Hutt from outside our room was a marveloous surprise.
Perfect stop over for 1 night after long flight. Just over an hours drive from Christchurch airport.
Very small town that closes down by 8. The Brown pub and The Blue pub were open.
Facilities were immaculate. Very clean bath room and kitchen with everything you needed for self catering.
