Brightly and comfortably furnished and very well equipped. The hot spa, ready and waiting for us, was great to warm up in after a couple of days exploring Milford and Doubtful Sounds. The bed was comfy, plenty of room for luggage and for hanging jackets. The rural setting was great and the alpacas were very cute. Communications with the hosts prior to our arrival and during our stay was prompt and helpful.

Lovely cottage, roomy, airy with all you could need. We appreciated the 2 bathrooms and toilets. It was conveniently located near the lake and the wharf. We had a wonderful day visiting Doubtful Sound and really appreciated being right at the departure point.

The room was warm and comfortable. Kitchen was well equiped, we used the bar-b-q which was nice and clean. Location is good close to everything. Great for an overnight stay on our way to Milford Sound.

Good location if you have a car
Nice and quiet
Warm and comfy when you turn on the heater otherwise it’s freezing
Good kitchen with everything you need in it
Lounge is very cool to seat a little bit and chill !
Clean and comfortable.location good. Having the fire place was great as it kept everyone warm and comfortable. Kitchen was great having plates, cutlery, microwave, kettle and all the other nessasary stuff and equipment. Overall great place and we had a good time!
We had a small cabin that was comfortable and cosy. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Location is a short walk from town so very handy. Kitchen facilities were basic but everything that we needed was there. Verdict: basic but good value. I would stay here again.
“Loved the single cabin with a full kitchen and living room. The front deck looked out on the lake and had a gorgeous view especially enjoyed during morning coffee. It was a quaint comfy stay.”
We had a basic cabin with no facilities. It was roomy enough for luggage and the heater kept the room warm. The toilet and shower block was dated but clean, kitchen and dining was spacious, good laundry facilities, though the lounge was small. We enjoyed the fire pit in the evening and the sound of cows in the next field. Close to the lake and beach walk.
The room was basic but comfortable (particularly the bed). It was very satisfactory for a budget price. The views over the lake were beautiful. Access to the kitchen and (though we didn't need it) a laundry were helpful additions.
