    Loved our stay, the room was very spacious for a motel and very clean. I usually get sniffly in motels if they are stuffy but this one I felt fine. Clean linen, TV with Netflix etc, full kitchen - Kitchen was well equipped with utensils, crockery, toaster etc. The location was perfect as we were catching a concert at Te Ahu Library which is right across the street. Bonus was the ability to bring our dog, ensured we brought her lockable cage so she stayed in her area - a dog park nearby too which is awesome.

    This bijou place is incredibly well thought out to maximise space. Kitchenette has a microwave and toaster, but the gracious host allows use of a BBQ and their entire back garden. This makes it the perfect restful place after a days driving. Photos dont do it justice. More than anything it was immaculate, which for me is the only non negotiable.

    The owners were very keen to be helpful and the accommodation was perfectly acceptable for our overnight stay. This is a new venture and still a work in progress but if you're touring round Kerikeri it will make a very good base. The kitchen facilities are already excellent and self catering is very straightforward. It's clear that it will get even better and is excellent value for money.
