I loved the warm welcome from the gentleman who was on duty when I arrived. Very accommodating questions on my day, travel etc. Filled me on on the rules. That I could help myself to things in the kitchen etc, showed me to my room, any questions just sing out. Everyone I met there were lovely too. I'm coming back to this place for sure. Ahhh and the lovely lady in the morning who lit the fire thank you so much Hanmer Backpacker's x
Nice and roomy for two people,( can sleep 4 but couch only fits 2) with two single beds in lounge and queen in bedroom. bedroom nice size, bed comfortable and lovely linen. Full kitchen. Bathroom very clean, lovely hand wash etc. undercover car parking close to chalet. Only stayed one night and didn’t get chance to look around at facilities as weather poor.
Brilliant location, our room was delightful, cosy, clean and comfortable. The Lodge had an exceptional kitchen, spotlessly clean and very well equipped. The upstairs lounge and balcony were a bonus. A very friendly welcome on our arrival by the staff member
Enough kitchen facilities to use, good heat pump, great mountain view and near town. Has smart tv but you cant use the apps due to poor internet connection.

DVD and free dvds available at office was handy on the wet night when we wanted to stay in. Lovely and warm on a cold night.
Drifters Inn was the perfect place to stay in Hanmer Springs. It was situated right in the centre of the action and across the road from the Hot Springs.
Everything was perfect and the kitchen was immaculately clean with a comfortable dining and sitting room for self catering. We highly recommend Drifters Inn.
Large open fire and general set up in the communal area- perfect on cold wet winter's days. Great kitchen for self-catering. Friendly staff. Netflix in bedroom.
