In my many visits to London, this is the first time that I stayed as far away from the city as I did. And I'm glad I did. First of all Sandie and Charlie were perfect hosts. Even before I had arrived, every time I texted Charlie, I received a reply almost immediately or within a matter of minutes at the most. And he turned out to be a friendly, helpful, and gracious host. I got to know both Charlie and Sandie a little and it felt as if I were staying with old friends. Short of getting you a pet alligator, they'd do their best to accommodate any reasonable request you may have. The apartment was very comfortable - clean, large bedroom with a comfortable bed. There is a smaller, pleasant, bedroom which is large enough for a single. The kitchen and bathrooms were smallish but quite adequate for my needs. The wifi was fast and reliable although it went on vacation for a minute or two on a couple of occasions. It seemed to be unseasonably cold at times on the outside but it was always pleasantly comfortable in the apartment with the well-controlled heating. All the while I was there, I left the window shades up because of the lovely views. Wimbledon Centre Court is just a stone's throw away and in the distance the London Eye provides a point of reference for the city's skyline. Just a few minutes walk in the pretty neighbourhood takes you to Wimbledon Village, a delightful hamlet where you can sample a variety of cuisines from around the world - Europe, Asia, the Americas. For groceries, there's a Tesco Express which is open from early morning till late at night. A short jog takes you to Wimbledon Commons where you can stretch your legs or go for a non-trivial run. Going to the city involves a little more time. Several options are available from the station (about 20 minutes on foot): District line through Earl's Court and beyond; the train to Waterloo; same train but stopping at Vauxhall and catching the Victoria line.

The location was perfect. Very convenient for restaurants, cafés, Wimbledon Common, buses and minutes walking distance from train/tube station. The apartment was roomy by London standards, we always stay in the Village and this is the best place we've stayed at so far. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen well equipped, basics, like coffee/tea/sugar provided. The host was very nice and responsive.

Location, ease of checking in, lovely and responsive host, free toiletries and teas and coffees when we got in, dishwasher, comfy beds and bedding. TV had casting ability. I would definitely come back!

Everything was perfect, the kitchen was amazing and spacious, very easy to move around. Very close to shopping supermarket (3 minutes walk) and 6 minutes to the train station. Christine was very helpful and any inquiries was answered right away! Thank you for letting us checking is early!

Lovely property and so spacious. So close to tube and parks and shops we would definitely stay again- so good for a family visiting London. Hugo was really responsive and helpful too.
