Location for Alton towers was excellent. The studio was cosy, but ample space for a family of four. All the basic kitchen items were available which made it easy to make simple meals.
Great communication from the host leading up to us arriving - we arrived in the evening, and they accommodated that late arrival.

We spent the weekend here with a 6 year old 2 year old. The children wanted to move into the carriage for good. It was a fantastic experience and we got so close to the cows each morning.
This carriage was a 20 minute drive from Alton Towers. Jayne the host provided all info by text message and shared contact details if needed. Although not iscolated we felt we had privacy and wasn’t on someone else’s land as such. We felt comfortable in the carriage. It was chilly outside all weekend but the carriage was toasty and warm.
Everything was provided including towels and fresh milk. There is a restaurant 5 min walk one direction and another pub/food place 5 min walk in the other direction. We liked this as we could leave the car at the farm and walk to dinner as we aren’t confident country road drivers especially at night.
Please book this as a couple break or for an experience with younger children. A really bespoke experience. The views from the carriage of lane and country side was out of this world.

What a little gem this place is, so cosy and the bed was unbelievably comfy, everything you need is there. Owners are lovely friendly couple, couldn't do enough for us. Will definitely be back in the summer for a longer stay.

I stayed at the Modern Guest House while visiting my son at university. It is perfectly placed to visit students on the Leek Road or College Road Campus. I had a spacious ground floor front room with a very comfortable bed. There is a comfortable shared sitting room with a TV, well equipped kitchen and shower room. As I was staying on my own I enjoyed being able to meet some other people staying there in the shared areas.
Very VERY clean.
Good fast Wi-Fi, nice tvs in each room.
Decor new and tasteful - things like nice thick carpets etc. Good pillows and decent duvets.
Kitchen was well stocked with plates, utensils etc.
Very clever lock on front door to get in easily.
Shower nice and powerful with plenty of hot water.
The owners were very friendly.
Absolute stunning property to stay at , amenities opposite or short distance kitchen amazing very quiet had spent 3 nights there 1 wasn't enough needed the break and this was ideal
The location was good. It was near to the place where the funeral was held. The rooms were very clean, and the beds were the right sizes and comfortable. The kitchen was up to standard. Everything was provided, from coffee to tea bags, sugar to salt, nothing missed. A washing machine was available, but we didn't use it. Toilets and bathrooms were very clean and tidy. I will highly recommend to my friends about this place.
