If you love Contemporary Art, here is your chance to stay in the heart of Barbizon surrounded by fascinating sculptures, paintings and other forms of Conceptual and Installation Art. Upstairs and in an annex are five suites decorated with pieces from the museums collection. Our large room located above the museum had a large bath, a well equipped kitchen, comfortable bed and windows that open overlooking the surrounding gardens and neighborhood. Breakfast is ordered the previous day and consists of fresh fruit, baked goods, yogurt and coffee which is brought to your room by a staff member. A couple of tight parking spaces are available at the rear of the property in addition to a large secluded public parking lot a block away.

As always the welcome was warm. Patrick is a great host, very friendly and treated us to champagne and chocolates on Christmas. The roulette is very cosy, easy to heat and all you need for cooking is available. It is only a short walk to Milly centre. Beds are comfortable and the place is very clean. The bathroom is small but the shower is really nice.
We had a great time.

The property had everything we needed as the base for our holiday. We particularly liked the direct access to the shared garden and the peace and quiet of the location. Great for a break with our small dog who loved being able to access the garden. We even tried the bikes one day which was fabulous to see the French countryside from a different perspective.

The most romantic place!
Everything is done with immense love and amazing taste! We were greeted by the host who immediately shared tomatoes from his garden. The huge garden is very well-maintained and beautiful. The tiny house on wheels with wooden siding is next to a stream. It feels like you’ve stepped into another century and are sailing on an old corvette. Yet, the house is equipped with everything new and necessary, both in the kitchen and the bathroom.
The bed is wonderful. Everything is very clean. Patrick helps with any issues. Excellent internet. Quiet. Beautiful and very comfortable!

Wonderful property in Recloses, with all we needed for a comfortable stay. Great location, and a well appointed apartment. We really liked the furniture and furnishings, and the maps / general info about the Fontainebleau area were really useful, too. It was so close to lots of bouldering crags. We only had to drive up to 10 minutes. Very well situated if you are a climber. The kitchen had pretty much everything we needed and the cupboards were spacious. It is dog friendly as well which is a huge bonus to us. The carpark is pretty spacious too. The host was very friendly. Great value for money.
