Everything, the location was outstanding, with just a few steps down the road to the Mapleton falls, where there are the most stunning views. We had the property on the upper floor, and the small deck had the best views ever over the rainforest. The property was beautiful, with such an authentic and personal touch from the host Renee, who is simply delightful. She couldn’t be fairer, more pleasant and kind, and also very funny with some cracking stories to share. We had an afternoon at the pool to ourselves which was beautiful. We would like to thank Renee for her kindness, your beautiful place, as you know, touched our hearts, and I know one day - we will be back, because you’re right, one night isn’t enough! A beautifully presented, well appointed and very clean property with fantastic views. Some of the outstanding features included an extremely comfortable bed, 2 great baths and a large shower with a large rose shower head and a beautiful clean pool with modern sauna. We liked the quietness and the facilities available. We could just do our thing as it was well equipped. The property was beautiful and even though it’s a little bit older, but there was an amazing (and massive) spa bath overlooking the gardens, a large comfortable bed, and bbq on the deck. The cheese platter and continental breaky hamper with daily delivered croissants was great! We met Karen on our check in and she was absolutely lovely. We’d definitely go back :)

The location is quiet and peaceful and enjoyed the idea of table and chairs out on the balcony where you could sit and enjoy a cuppa. Kitchenette was adequate, fridge and freezer worked well.
The bathroom was small but adequate and the shower was good with good pressure and hot water.
Facilities were excellent - living room/bedroom, kitchen, bathroom all well appointed and spacious. Swimming pool clean and good temperature. Great views from windows and the small sheltered balcony.
We celebrated New Year's at Staggys and it was perfect!
The location is gorgeous, close to Maleny and has plenty of hikes nearby. Though there are a few cottages nearby, you don't notice the other guests at all.
It did rain for much of our stay, so we traded exploring for a movie day in bed. But, when you're cosy and surrounded by nature there's nothing to complain about.
All the small details have been considered — From all the kitchenware you need to a hair dryer, cotton buds and make-up remover pads.
We spent four nights here and liked it a lot. The two bedroom unit was a generous size with good bathroom and handy kitchenette. There was a laundry next to the pool area which we didn't use but it's good to know this was available if we had needed it.
Easy to follow map, road in and out was easy. The kitchen was fully equipped. The bathrooms were clean and fully stocked with the things you’d need. Extra blankets were supplied. The apartment had aircon, fans and big windows for open air and light.
We enjoyed the warm hospitality provided by Tezz and Gilbert. The place has a rustic and relaxing atmosphere. The cherry on top was the marvellous views from the deck. A scrumptious breakfast is provided and the kitchen is well stocked!
