Gorgeous hotel with professional, courteous staff. In particular Ross and Katie were both so helpful and excellent ambassadors for your hotel. A quick mention also for Diana at Clover Thai. She gave me a wonderful massage that added to the luxury feeling of the hotel.

Excellent location within walking distance of many top attractions and also close to hop-on hop-off tourist bus service. Excellent breakfast, well worth paying extra for, and very friendly, helpful staff.

The location was exactly what we wanted. it was in walking distance to all the shopping and sightseeing during the day, and right on the edge of Temple Bar area for the nightlife.

Stillorgan is predominantly a suburban, residential area so not really for tourists. However it is easily accessible to the city center by bus and also you can take a 15 minute or so walk to the Luas (light rail system) which also brings you to the city center or even Dundrum shopping center which has cinemas, restaurants and mini golf for those rainy days with the kids.

Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history.
Fabulous old hotel with lots of well preserved history. Easy to reach from the N11 coming from the Motorway. Area is lovely and peaceful, had to stay there because of the nearby Embassy which is reachable by walking.

The room was very run down and very old fashioned.
The room was very run down and very old fashioned. Dont know how it has a 5 star rating. I've stayed in 4 star nicer and more modern than it. The noise level was crazy. People from a wedding going in and out if eachothers rooms through the night. We reported it by phone to the duty manager. He offered us a different room but that long into the night we just didn't want too. He also said there was no noise so it was like he was saying we were lying. Put at a drafty terrible table for dinner. Asked to be moved.told no and then witnessed other residents being moved when they asked could they. Will not return.

I booked the Stillorgan hotel as it was close to our daughter who rents near by and she was able to pick us up and we all travelled together to the musical Grease in Bord Gáis, most enjoyable. Then we all met again for breakfast in the hotel the next morning. So a most enjoyable and convenient time was enjoyed by all.
The room was spacious and spotless. Breakfast was copious and very high standard. Dinner very good. Excellent gym. But the deciding factor was the quality of service from staff at all levels. Front of house manager Balla could not have been more helpful when I needed to extend my stay. His professional and friendly manner was outstanding. The Talbot is a 4-star hotel, with 5-star service.
the property, an elegant old Georgian mansion, was fully decked out for Christmas. It and the staff were lovely. I particularly loved
the atrium bar area where I had a most delicious steak. The room was spacious and well appointed. the property is very well cared for. I loved that you could open the windows and catch that beautiful Irish air. I loved this place.
Large hotel south of Dublin City Centre, not far from the UCD campus. We're able to get an early check-in after a long day of travel which was a huge help. Breakfast each morning was really good start to the day with good variety and attentive service. Rooms were on the small side but comfortable. We didn't eat at the restaurant on site, but it looked great.
Lovely ambience and garden. Real old world. Rooms spacious and well appointed. Powerful shower with ample stable hot water even on the top floor. Very comfortable beds - good night's sleep. Staff pleasant and helpful. A little bit out of town but in a lovely part of south Dublin. Nice local villages nearby.
The hotel was in a great position for what we needed - close to transport and close to relatives that we were visiting. The bedrooms were spacious and clean, if not a bit 'tired', and the bed was comfortable. The bar area is nice and the breakfast area/food was excellent. The staff were helpful and friendly.
The location was perfect. The rooms were so spacious, clean and comfortable. I have stayed here before and will definitely be staying again . Also we had dinner in the hotel restaurant on Monday night and the food was fabulous and the portions are big. No going to McDonalds afterwards for us 🤣
The hotel itself was beautiful, comfortable and the gardens and surrounding areas were fabulous. The rooms were spacious and quiet. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The entire hotel was spotlessly clean, including the gardens.
I was working close by at UCD so this hotel was ideally placed to walk to / from campus.
The grounds are beautiful and the hotel has a lovely feel.
Staff were very pleasant and friendly throughout the property.
Good location with easy access into Dublin city centre.
Nice rooms with AC which was a bonus due to the heatwave at the time.
Breakfast staff were excellent was breakfast was superb,
The deluxe room is spacious and beautiful, the gym is huge and all equipments are band new and good quality, the staff is really helpful even though lots of trainees
Fine hotel in lovely country manor-like setting close to the city center. Room was quiet and bed cozy. Food was excellent and staff very courteous. Great value.
Lovely hotel with friendly staff. The lobby is beautiful in an olde worlde way. Very quaint feel to the rooms which were clean with coffee making facilities
