Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris.
Forget CDG Airport if you want a day or two in Paris. You can't get there in a day. And never ever leave your luggage at the CDG Left Luggage. Never ever fly Air France where seats are too small for children.

Roissy-en-France isn't a tourist destination so a review of it is silly. Caveat - I was on foot and spent only a couple of hours walking around so probably there is more to the town than I saw. It was probably once a charming small town that has been commandeered by CDG airport. Now it seems to be just cheap airport hotels and light industrial businesses catering to the ailines. I found very few places to eat and almost none to buy groceries. You can walk a mile along a busy freeway to the truly dreadful Aeroville shopping center which is a crowded consumerist nightmare with high prices and a lot of stupid cookie-cutter, characterless stores selling overpriced crap. There is one grocery store there - Aucan, with very high prices compared to almost anywhere in France. There seems to be a nice park to walk in in Roissy but it was too cold to do so when I was there. In short I feel sorry for this little town which had the bad luck to have a giant airport move in next door.

Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I...
Paris is always a place that would be my first choice when I plan to Europe as because of the facilitates the airport has. From the airport you can take Metro to the city center or to the hotel where you booked to stay (I usually book my accommodation through www.booking.com). If you are willing to stay for few days or week(s), just purchase a navigo card that you can purchase before you get on the Metro at CDG airport and the Customer Service is willing to speak English too compare if you buy in the city, mostly they refuse to provide service if you speak in English. And if you buy a single trip in the city, you could ended up standing long in the queue. Take any Metro or city map to check where to go and what to visit while in the country. Circle/mark it where you stay so it is easier for your to get back to you hotel. If you choose accommodation, make sure it is closer to the public transportations/Metro. If you are from Asia and cannot away from Asian foods, make sure to search Asian restaurant in the first days so you can mixed your food planning between Asian and European foods. Avoid any crowd and make sure to keep safe any of your valuable items. And enjoy every moments you are there even though it is during the winter or summer time. And thank you to Emirates/EK crews who always provide their best services during my flights.

The hotel itself was fine, but they close their restaurant for dinner on weekends which is a huge problem and disappointed. Because we booked through a travel site (Booking.com) we went by their information which did not indicate the lack of dinner options. For us the major complaint is with Booking.com for not providing accurate information. If you just want/need a bed, then perhaps this hotel would be fine, but we needed a decent meal after a day of travel and an early morning flight the next day.

It was convinient to find without much hassle and it was great going around Roissy-en-France! The pollution level is almost negligible and it was wonderful to have witnessed flying wild geese at an eye proximity inspite of the air traffic prevalent because it is located near CDG airport.
Besides, had a sumptuous chocolate breakfast for 6 euros.

I don't know why this place gets so much criticism here. It's actually very nice. The room is little, but very cozy. The bed is perfectly comfy. The shower is tiny, but still good. It was clean everywhere. The location is just very good, especially if you're aiming for the exhibition center or Charles de Gaulle Airport. People on the reception were polite and professional. I booked this hotel for the money I would hardly find a good hostel in Paris, the value for money is just great.
Nice spacious hotel room and hotel located walking distance to the airport terminal, via CDGVal. The breakfast was also very good. If you need to be located near the airport, whether you're arriving in Paris, or leaving, I would recommend this hotel. The fact that you can walk to CDGVal means that you can easily access the airport terminal, or the RER B that connects you to Paris, without having to rely on taxi, or shuttle. The hotel surrounding was very quiet.
I had a 20 hour layover in Paris on a Sunday night, too late to go into central Paris. Instead of one of the "chain" hotels one usually finds near an airport, I found this lovely B and B nearby. Roissy is a charming, authentically French village next to the airport. I had dinner in a local bistro that evening and a pleasant walk around town early the next morning, before heading back to the airport for my onward flight. Great decision!
This place was exceptional. Unfortunately we only had one night in France as this was a layover for a return trip home. We chose the hotel due to it's close proximity to Charles de Gaulle airport. The room was super clean, the staff were courteous and helpful, and the bed was very comfortable. We wished we could have stayed here longer.
The location is great for a next day flight out of Paris! We dropped off a rental car, took the airport "shuttle" (as in train) to terminal 3 and found the hotel immediately. We also were able to take the train from the hotel into Paris for our final dinner in France. The hotel is just above the train station which made it so easy.
Hotel was exactly what we needed for the night before an early flight out of CDG. Airport shuttle was close by, room was comfortable, food and drink were good, staff was great. My husband and I were more than satisfied with our short stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone.
The fact that the hotel has its own exit to the CDG airport shuttle station was the primary reason I booked it. Getting to the terminal took only about five minutes, which eliminated the headache and stress of fighting the morning traffic to make an early-morning flight.
I've stayed only 1 night and chose this hotel for being close to the Charles de Gaulle airport. Patricia at the front desk was extremely nice and helpful. The room was quite confortable and clean and had a nice breakfast. I would reccomend staying here.
The hotel was clean, professional and the room was very spacious. It has multiple food options and is serviced nearby by a Brioche Doree and a marks and Spencers. Very close to trains into Paris and within the airport making travel very straightforward.
Exceptional location for an early morning flight out of CDG airport. The room was very clean and comfortable. Makes departing from airport much easier! Love that you can take the train right into the airport and go up the escalator to the hotel!
Love the concept of this hotel. As an airport property, the self check-in and small room work well. Bed was very comfortable. Although the restaurant food was likely reheated fare, it was surprisingly good and affordable for a CDG hotel.
It is close to the airport, it is an okay drive to DisneyLand and an okay drive to Paris Center (40-50 minutes).
It was clean and comfortable, the rooms were cleaned everyday and the hotel had good services and nice staff.
Good place to stay if you are looking for a budget hotel close to CDG Airport.
Decent breakfast.
Availability of Arte TV channel, which can help to kill the boredom of waiting for a flight.
The room was clean and well organized. The breakfast was great and for a fair price. The staff was polite and warming. I'd come back to this hotel whenever I come to CDG airport.
The staff was really friendly and helpful. The room was nice, very comfy. We loved the star wars theme .The location is perfect to access roissy airport. We recommend this hotel.
Location was perfect for the airport and the station for trains into Paris was a 2 minute walk from the hotel. The room was clean and met all my needs.
