Staff attended to my requests very quickly and the privacy of my room is great! Rather small room, which suited me as I am small sized. Unsure if it's ideal for 2 people even though there are 2 beds. Could be a tight squeeze with little elbow space.

A major meeting point for millions of pilgrims each year, this sacred city is also an ideal destination to enjoy outdoor activities like hiking, mountain biking and skiing.
According to legend, a young girl called Bernadette had eighteen visions of Virgin Mary in the Grotto of Massabielle. Visit the House of St. Bernadette and discover the place where St. Bernadette was born and lived until 1854.
The imposing Grotto of Massabielle is a holy place on the banks of the Gave River, known for its healing spring and the gorgeous statue of Our Lady of Lourdes. Lourdes is heaven on earth, where one may reflect and pray to Our Lady of Nottre Dame. Lourdes offers a variety of shops from souvenirs to exquisite and fine jewellery and French Cuisine. It is a safe place, where one can enjoy not only walks by the river Gave banks in the Sanctuary but one can stroll along the streets and admire the houses and the scenery. I highly recommend PANORAMA hotel as well as Casa Italiana and Le Bodegon for a very fine French Cuisine lunch or dinner. Will visit again Lourdes in the coming days for a Pilgrimage with the Malade as voluntary work and then revisit on a private tour in October.

If you are Catholic, or interested in the visions of the Lord’s Mother, you should go to Lourdes. You should ignore the hype, the 50 shops selling rosaries and little statues of the Virgin Mary, go the Domaine early in the morning before the rest of the tourists and pilgrims, and make the place your own. Go to the information centre and get a list of the mass times for the week as they are said in multiple languages every day. Go to the international mass and witness the arrival of 150 priests - the music is always amazing for this mass. Go to the torchlight procession and stand on the arch. Be wowed by the number of school kids who give up their holiday to go and give service to the elderly and infirm. Oh - and have coffee at the saint Sauveur. Great staff!

A very rustic town with a medieval vibe.
A very rustic town with a medieval vibe. Most people who visit Lourdes are Catholic Pilgrims (like us). You can see the faith of the visitors. The sanctuary offers a Torchlight Procession activity every evening which we found very moving.
The locals can understand English perfectly well.

Lourdes is great place to be, and get in touch with God and your faith, for spiritual renewal. It has many sites of spiritual significance and such activities too.
Its also a good place to rest from your busy life. Its main attractions are the spiritual side and thus the shopping centre offers a wide variety of products to complement them. It may be an ideal retreat for you. And mind you, it is a busy place all day every day, thats how much it is appreciated.

A totally wonderful experience - plenty of opportunities to pray but not stifling.
Indeed we found Lourdes to be a very busy interesting city with scope for visits to places of interest, bars and restaurants
The Hotel Roissy was very nice to stay in Lourdes. We have stayed there before , it is close proximity to the gates to the Church and Grotto. The staff are pleasant, polite, professional, always happy to help. Breakfast was very nice, and good food. All catering staff were pleasant and made breakfast enjoyable in the mornings. The Hotel location is close to shops, restaurants and the cinema which showed great films. The room was great, comfortable beds, clean, nice hot water in the bathroom, good size TV and WiFi was working well.
It was near to the "sanctuaires" (several minutes by foot down the hill) and the city center.
The staff at the breakfast room was very friendly and the breakfast was very good for the prize: the biggest and freshest croissants I had during my whole journey through France, cheese, different jams, honey, butter, fruits, yoghurt, orange juice, coffee, tea. I can recommend to take breakfast. The prize was not too high, the room was clean and they changed the towels. Nice bathroom. Lift in the hotel to reach the room.
Hotel Padoue is 5min by foot to the gate of the Grotto of Our Lady of Lourdes. The rooms are great! Very clean sheets, pillows, and towels. I had a good sleep in Room 620 with a wonderful view when I am standing in my balcony. The buffet breakfast is superb with my name on the table assigned to me overlooking the street. The wifi is excellent in the entire hotel specially in my room. Lastly, everyone in the management & staff of the hotel is warm and helpful. The hotel has a lift and ramp too.
Staff were very friendly.
The hotel was also a short walk to the Grotto of Lourdes which made our pilgrimage very worthwhile.
There was also an Asian restaurant - Asian Delices, serving Filipino food which was just a few steps away from the hotel.
We visited Lourdes in mid Novemver which is the off-season for tourists so we could spend more time at the Grotto praying. The disadvantage was almost all shops and even hotels were closed so not much choices for outside eating or shopping.
Location is excellent, 5 mins to Sanctuary/Grotto. Lots of shops, cafes, restaurants nearby, but in February most of cafes and restaurants were closed; others stop serving food before 5pm and there is nothing to eat till 7 pm. Hotel is clean, staff kind; Andriy was very helpful, kind and professional, gave me all information I needed. By the way, if you are flying to Lourdes; Airport shuttle bus takes you directly to the hotel; no need for taxi!
The room was clean and there was everything we needed for a comfortable 3 night stay at Lourdes.
The ensuite bathroom was good.
The view from our window was nice.
Cleaning staff visited the room every day.
The hotel is a 15 minute walk from the sanctuary.
In my opinion good value for money hotel
the hotel facility is good, and also the location is very strategic because the bus stop is right in front of the hotel.
Not too far away from the Notre Dame De Lourdes or the Mother Mary shrine.
Surrounded by lots of restaurants and souvenir shops till late night.
The staff was great. They let us leave our suitcases in reception even though their space was small . They also try yo let us check in early. Very nice, you could feel the spirit of Lourdes right there. It’s is the closest hotel to the Sanctuary.
Nice hotel located centrally in the city with clean, quite rooms all services for a 4 star hotel in place.
Good breakfast and friendly staff. We didn't use the restaurant for lunch or dinner but the menu looked good for reasonable prices.
We loved the Zenitude Hotel! The girl at the reception desk made us feel at home! The room was nice, clean and comfortable. Thank you for welcoming us to the beautiful Lourdes in such a nice way!
The staff were very helpful. Air France had lost my baggage and they helped me dealing with Air France.
Because of that I extended my stay by another 2 nights while tracking down my lost bag.
The hotel is superb. It is near the Lourdes Sanctuary and has all the basic necessities that you need in a comfortable stay. Elma has also been a very hospitable and friendly receptionist. :)
Excellent position for visiting the Lourdes Shrines and participating in the various relegious activities
Riverside location
