Excellent location as we could almost walk everywhere we needed to. Room was comfortable and clean. The fact that we could walk along the balcony from the car parking spot with no stairs was a bonus.

Property was beautiful, so special waking up with the kangaroos and going to sleep with the sound of frogs and bats.

Been coming to Merimbula since I was very young. Was great to finally bring my young family! Absolutely love the food and beaches but mostly the people! Everyone is lovely and smiling. Great place to bring younger kiddos too for the safe beach/bay. Can’t wait to come back!

We stayed Mid February, just after the School Holidays ended, so the crowds would have been reduced. Still, there was a great "vibe" to the town, beaches, and surrounds. Merimbula was a great starting point to travel up & down the coast visiting other locales, such as Eden, Tathra, and the numerous beaches/parks/lakes along the Sapphire Coast.

Merimbula was suprisingly busy for a country town and traffic was at a standstill in the main downtown area at times. I don't know if this was normal for this time of the year (February). We did a number of day trips to surrounding areas such as Eden, Boydtown, Candelo and Tathra. We had hoped to visit Kameruka but it was closed to the public. Local seafood was good and the oysters, in particular, were delicious.

The room was very clean and comfy.
The room was very clean and comfy. Parking was smooth and easy, right in front of the room. I especially enjoyed the large bathroom and the back veranda. The aircon was also good. Wifi didn't work so well.
Merimbula is a great place for staying and relaxing. The beach boardwalk is beautiful. Nice shopping, restaurants, and cafes. We had a lovely breakfast at MorMors Cafe. The "Top Fun" amusement centre was also a great experience.

Victoria, it was not as busy as what we thought. I enjoyed doing a lot of walks especially the boardwalk trail. Easy to find your way around town.
The Oysters are really fresh. try their oyster factories. don't fall for the $8 per dozen advert though. apparently they are real small oysters. ((probably shouldn't even be harvested). the $20/dozen are a good size.
Try the Wheelers ( Pambula) restaurant. decent food.
Our stay began with a very welcoming host at reception, we also loved the view from the room especially all the bird life that was entertaining to watch. We’ve never seen so many cockatoos and lorikeets in one place! The hotel has a very beautiful outlook over the trees towards the ocean; with the misty rain that was falling we felt as though we were in the clouds. The room was extremely comfortable and well-lit with a great shower and free parking right outside the door. It’s a few minutes drive to lots of food options in Merimbula
Black Dolphin Motel and Apartments was a nice place to stay for the price that we paid less than $600 for three nights over the Australia day long weekend value for money was great. The motel itself is a bit outdated but acceptable the property is well kept and looked after, with numerous places to sit outside and BBQ or lounge around. Less than a 5min walk to Merimbula beach which is great and not far into Merribula CBD. Plenty of car spaces as well.
Perched on the crest of the hill the motel offers exceptional views over Merimbula to the ocean. Remembering it’s an old style 60’s Motel, the reno is giving it a new lease of life. Linen... five star, toiletries exceptional boutique, big screen Samsung TV, great books and decor. Hard to fault. Loved the complementary croissants baked locally for bfast. Great staff and owner Casper always available for a chat about his dreams.
-clean space

-bathroom was nice with large benchspace and a hairdryer and a glassed shower. We got the newly renovated bathroom.
-netflix included, didn't have to sign into your own account. This was so good!
-they even have a sport channel on tv.
-wifi was good.
-location was central in merimbula
-mini fridge and microwave
-tissue box provided
Overall i would recommend this place!
the location was excellent, our purpose for the trip was to complete the wharf to wharf walk from Tathra to Merimbula and ‘beach cabins Merimbula’ provided the excellent accommodation as the walk passed straight past the cabins. It was exceptionally clean and inviting, not to mention the views. Even impressed the TV had a DVD player so we could watch our home movies.
Plus it was quiet at night.
Spotless little motel with super friendly owners, I highly reccommend The Pelican. We arrived with a baby which means lots of gear and extra questions but nothing was too hard for Tom on the front desk. Walked to dinner that night and the water for breakfast the next day. There's lots of good motel options in Merimbula it seems, but we were so happy we fluked The Pelican - we'll be back.
Sails Luxury Apartments are in a perfect location for walks to the beach, main street and the boardwalk. We stayed in a two-bedroom coroner apartment with a wonderful view over the Lake and Merimbula Bridge. The apartment was large, well equipped and clean. Undercover Parking was at the back of the complex.
Very friendly staff happy to help.
We enjoyed a wonderful week at Merimbula Lake Apartments. Friendly staff. Great location over looking the water. Apartment very spacious and well equipped. We did not want for anything. Easy flat walk into town or the beach. Shops close by for a takeaway. Thankyou for the surprise welcome pack. I would stay here again.
Every time we come up here we stay at the NRMA because it's simply amazing, we've stayed at a few of the different cabins and slowly working our way around staying in all of them, each one we have stayed at so far have been clean, comfortable and fantastic value for money.
Lovely older style but newly renovated apartment in the Fishpen area of Merimbula. Excellent location - close to beach, town, walks and great coffee spots. Room was all we needed - clean, well-equipped kitchen and washing machine. Hosts were fantastic.
Enjoyed everything Beachcomber had to offer. Especially being across the road from Ford Park and Merimbula Main Beach ⛱️. Also being absolutely Pet Friendly. My Kelpie and I had a wonderful stay in Unit 2.
Great location as it was close to two very good beaches, eateries, by the water walks. Great host and well maintained apartments. Great Value for money. Our kids loved it too.
It was amazing for the kids the cabins was close together so they could play with their friends that were staying there to the cabins were really practical for us.
