Really nice and probably underrated village that doesn't seem to be on the tourist radar. Has everything you need, though beware of course the only grocery store closes very early particularly on Sundays.

The museum was really interesting, plenty of tourist shops and places to eat.We spent a morning there which was enough to see what we wanted as this was just a short stop enroute to other museums/d-day beaches.

We stopped in this location as we were visiting the D Day sites and memorials and this is a PERFECT location for this. A 5 minute wall has you on the beaches and your are within 30 minutes drive of pretty much everything you might want to visit.
Lovely location, quiet and comfy but we were in off season to the local town was closed most evenings bar 1 restaurant which was poor, especially for France.
If you are looking for a solid location for D Day sites this is a superb choice.

The breakfast is ok with choices of cereals ,cold meats, cheeses, hot food consists of scrambled eggs and bacon, which is mostly just warm. Good choices of teas and coffee. But after a few days it all becomes a bit the same

Arromanches-Les-Bains is perfectly situated to explore all...
Arromanches-Les-Bains is perfectly situated to explore all the places of interest without staying in a town. Having the beach on your doorstep is relaxing. My only complaint is that the restaurants are expensive and touristy as are the shops.

The large room on the top floor was beautifully updated and spotless with a great Channel view. The owner, Marie Caroline was most helpful during our stay and to honor June 6th in the name of the hotel was really special. We chose the location because it is about in the middle of the 5 D-Day Beaches and the town with its rich history was really nice too. Breakfast was delicious every morning and dinner at both of Marie Caroline's restaurants was spectactular.
The breakfast was excellent as were the evening meals. The hosts are simply wonderful. I would, however recommend installing a wifi access point for the rooms which are out of reach for proper wifi usage. We sat in the lounge/ reception area as our room had no reception it was lovely too. But certainly for the hotel it would prove wonderful and folks would not invade the reception area. But a truly marvelous hotel and felt very welcoming.
Amazing location, had all the basic utilities we needed, great price and responsive host. Loved being right next to the beach and several restaurants and shops. Cider farms and all the other d'day beaches a short drive away, 20 min from the Bayeux tapestry and only 2 hours from mont st Michel and the cliffs of étretat. A wonderful, (small, simple and affordable were what we wanted) place to stay for a family vacation in Normandy.
The location is great, right in the heart of Arromanches-les-Bains and right next to the Museum of the Normandy Invasion. There are many little shops and restaurants to choose from. The view we had from our room was amazing. The hotel was able to park us right next to the building so we did not have to pay for parking. I also like the fact that the restaurant is attached to the building. It made breakfast and dinner easy,
We loved the authentic style of the hotel. The staff was kind and helpful. The room specious, clean, quiet and had everything we needed. I had such a good night sleep on the bed, the most comfortable bed ever. I am grateful for the coffee they left for us, we needed it since we had to leave early. I will definitely come back to Arromanches and this particular hotel and choose the same room, if possible. No 1.
The hotel is very well located, short walk to all venues. Opposite is also a convenience store if you need to buy something. In front of the hotel is main town parking but there wasn´t much noise coming from it. The room itself was great, very very spacious, with amenities and everything you may need. We even got a table and chairs in the garden. We did not get the breakfast, it felt a bit overpriced.
The breakfast was excellent and thank you for leaving some out this morning for our early departure. The hosts were excellent. They put tables and chairs in the garden for us to eat our picnic last night. The children loved the animals. Location was good and we made good time to Ouistreham for our ferry. Thank you. They also run an excellent restaurant in Arromanches which we ate at one night.
Great central location, easy to find, quiet and comfortable. Good instructions and communication. Perfect for a few days away.
It's good to recycle so it would be really helpful to have some recycling instructions - there were three compartments under the sink but other than general rubbish, I had no idea what to put where or what can be recycled in France.
The staff at the hotel was outstanding! Everyone was very friendly and we were greeted with warm smiles upon arrival and also every morning at breakfast. Breakfast was enough to take us through till dinner. The room was extremely quiet which is why we chose to stay away from the bigger city of Bayeux.
Fairly large and clean room. Small scale hotel with cosy breakfast. Charging station for EVs.
There was sea view, being it a bit distant. Did opt for the welcome presents in the room: Champagne and chocolate. I would recommend this to surprise your partner.
The accommodation is in an excellent location, right in the centre of Arromanches. Great parking, warm welcome and lovely bedroom. Breakfast was excellent, freshly squeezed orange juice, crepes, drop scones and delicious home made jams.
Transferred to Hotel La Marine. Very nice one. Right in front of Gold Beach. Very courteous hotel staff. Breakfast is good. Small Room and bathroom with a seaview. This review is valid for Hotel La Marine.
Everything! The owner is such a fabulous, friendly and welcoming host. The hotel is a real gem, a fascinating place full of aviation relics, and the rooms are incredibly cosy and comfortable. We loved it!
Close proximity to the sea and middle of town. Good location to explore Normandy Beaches. Lots of space, great washing facilities, and our favorite place in our 3 week European holiday.
Loved the ground floor room with outside decking, breakfast was lovely and the hotel was clean and fresh and close to all the amenities, we had a wonderful stay and will be back!
It was the super weekend we loved the place and the hotel people were so nice and helpful breakfast was great… such a chill and relaxing place and the location was great
Really unique and particular hotel with many objects from the war and a great breakfast room with the cockpit of a plane. Super super nice and welcoming owners.
The hotel is a museum. The owners are very proud of their hotel and of their collections, and very happy to tell visitors about it.
Breakfast was excellent.
