I loved everything about Antibes.
I loved everything about Antibes. It is a pretty small town on the coast with a variety of old narrow streets and attractive wide avenues. I liked the marina and enjoyed visiting the Picasso museum. It is a short walk from the train and bus station to the centre of Antibes so it is easy to visit other places while staying in Antibes. The staff in the tourist office were very helpful. There are many restaurants. The weather was warm in May with a gentle cooling wind and I enjoyed sitting at cafes in little squares with a coffee or glass of wine relaxing and watching the world go by. Antibes is a wonderful town along the French Riviera, and a good alternative to Nice as a base for a visit, especially if you want a more overall charming spot to bask in. Walking around is a delight, with lots of little surprises along the way. The Picasso Museum is excellent and well worth a visit. One restaurant that we particularly enjoyed was Le P'tit Cageot. It has a limited menu but the entrees and desserts are excellent!

Antibes is a lively town with numerous bars, shops and restaurants. Beer 7 euros a pint although to be expected. Easy to reach other places of interest eg Monte Carlo, Cannes, Villefranche. Buses and trains very cheap. Lovely marina

We were able to get whatever we needed within 5 minutes of the property- everything was easy. Our family room was spacious (3 beds and 2 baths). The set up worked very well for our family of four.

There is a bus stop close to the hotel that takes you to the city centre. Also you have a very good boulangerie nearby (Boulangerie Ange) and a McDonald's and a big Carrefour.
