The location was great and a lovely place to stay!
Nature Walks are a must. Just be careful if you have young ones as some are near edges. The beaches are gorgeous. Everyone is so friendly, and it is a very dog friendly place which is amazing.
A must is the Gelato shop and the LARC tour.

Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded.
Agnes Water/1770 is a lovely location and not overcrowded. It is big enough to have well stocked food shops and a choice of restaurants, but small enough feel like a real getaway destination. The day trip to Lady Musgrave Island is rather expensive ($245 pp,) but worth it. The swimming beach at Agnes water has lifeguards and is north facing, and so sheltered from the wind and the rougher seas. There are plenty of other beaches for long walks. Eurimbula national park is worth a visit if you have a 4-wheel drive. On a previous visit with two teenagers, we took bikes, which are a great way to get around. There is a bike path between Agnes Water and 1770.

What I liked the most was the totally relaxed feeling of Agnes Waters and the quality of The town beach.
The area did not appear to be commercially, and finance oririentated. I met so many genuinely friendly people who had time to talk and socialise.I am finding it hard to identify any negative or unsatisfactory aspect yo my visit.

Beautiful area of the world.
Beautiful area of the world. Lots of magnificent beaches and coves. Great bush walks.
History is everywhere with the Capt. Cook affiliations.
Beautiful sunsets over the shoals.
Plenty of on water opportunities.
Good restaurant and takeaway.
We loved everything about this room! It was absolutely perfect. The bed was suuuuuper comfortable, the spa area was to die for, the little patio area was fantastic for that morning coffee or afternoon beer. We had never been to the area, so the fact that it was so close to shops and 1770, it made exploring so much easier. And just to put the cherry on the cake, the owners were so lovely and kept us up to date with everything we needed to know before and throughout our stay.
The staff was kind and friendly, they gave us tips for tours, food and attractions. The hostel and room were clean. The matt and pillows not comfy but you need to know that as it is a hostel and it's price value. It has a wonderful location between Agnes Waters and 1770. Close to the beach (just a 200 metres walk), they have a pool and they have surf boards. I really recomend this place if you are travelling on a budget. Wonderful staff!
The one bedroom unit was spotlessly clean, well furnished and had everything we needed. It was within a beautifully designed complex with attractive gardens and great swimming pools. We had been on the road for a couple of weeks and this was by some distance the highest quality of our accommodations.
The location was just a few minutes from central Agnes Waters and the marina at 1770 with a variety of bars and restaurants.
It was such a lovely cottage and property with a great atmosphere and all the amenities you’d need. We felt right at home and it was pet friendly!! We sat on the porch and enjoyed the clear view of the stars. Bill was a great host and greeted us on arrival and gave us advice about places to eat and take our dog for a run around. Thanks again Bill and Carolyn!
Beautiful stay with all facilities that you can possibly need. First time during my trip that I did some cooking since I missed that so much and they had the kitchen very well equiped. Felt like being at home, perfect atmosphere and very cosy place. Great price/quality, would highly recommend the place. Seascape Retreat is the hidden gem in Agnes Waters!
1770 and Agnes Waters was a long way for us to drive. Liked the Inlet, liked the Sunday market, Liked the coffee and ice cream, Round Hill Pizza. Liked the boardwalk at 1770 and Workman's beach. The king size bed was comfortable. A good place to sleep can make or break a place as far as we are concerned.
Great quiet location. Approx halfway between town and 1770. Walk to the beach, Good walking and bike paths nearby. Nice to have two balconies. Enjoyed the sun in the afternoon looking over the pool and breakfast on the front balcony watching the ocean. Great TV and sound bar and working aircon and fans
the staff were super friendly and the cabins are absolutely stunning! the property is clean and tidy and well looked after. I loved the sunset view on the little walk the endless hills were breathtaking, and on the other side with the cabin was the beautiful views of the ocean. just a stunning spot!!
LOVED this house - it’s sooo cozy, you feel immediately at home. The kitchen is functional and offers way more than your avg hostel. Comfiest bed I’ve ever had in a hostel. Nice clean bathroom. Quiet yet social vibe. Short walk to the beach and town shops. Absolutely loved!
Small heated pool was a winner for our family at this time of year. Short walk to Lagoons bar for a cocktail. Nice 2km walk to Agnes Water beach and cafe with a view at the caravan park. Travelling with kids - don't miss the swing on the beach. Recommend Poke bowls in town,
it had everything there if we were to cook for ourselves- blender, pot&pans, toaster
it look beautiful, really comfy bed
although we had to drive a bit to get there as it was about 10-15minutes from Agnes waters, it was definitely worth the drive
Close proximity to the beach and town.
The Beach House was lovely and big with great facilities.
I would definitely recommend Agnes Waters and Sandcastles to anyone who wants to get away from the busyness of other QLD beaches.
Modern and well appointed - cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer Nice sized bathrooms Good size bed Spacious living area Great location between Agnes Water & 1770
