The breakfast was very good.
The location was on the south of the island and you needed a car to explore.
It took a long time to get to various places because of the location, so best if you just want to relax in Katelios only.
The swimming pool was excellent, and with only five rooms there was plenty of space for all guests.

The owner was super nice, he gave us a room with a great view, there is a kettle in the room and the breakfast was excellent: lots of choice, homemade cake and pastry, local and high quality product ! We wished we stay longer !!

Katelios is a very quiet, relaxed and friendly place. The swimming is safe and there are sunbeds and beach umbrellas. There are a number of restaurants along the sea front so you are spoilt for choice - one for each day of the week! Would highly recommend it.

A very peaceful location close to the town of Katelios where there are many bars and restaurants.
The Hotel only has five rooms so plenty of space for everyone around the large pool.
This is perfect for a relaxing holiday however if you want to travel around the island it is best to hire a car.
Because of the location journey times to other towns were quite long ie it would take 2 hours to get to Fiskado in the north of the island

Katelios is a small fishing village.
Katelios is a small fishing village. We got a taxi from the airport to our accommodation for 50 Euro. There are a couple of small supermarkets, and plenty of restaurants and bars. We had previously stayed in katelios, but our accomodation was a long walk to the beach. This year we stayed in The Medusa, which is just a few steps to the beach and restaurants. If you want somewhere quiet to relax and unwind Katelios would be ideal. If you want the shops there is a bus at 11am to Skala, it returns at 16.00pm. Over the two years we have stayed in Katelios we have found all the restaurants have served good food and very friendly.

Love the resort and being so close to the beach.
Love the resort and being so close to the beach. The taxi journey can be a bit hair raising! Friendly people and everything is very compact so not a lot of walking needed. Every taverna serves delicious food and I can't fault any of them.

Nice small village, right on the sea, nice choice of restaurants, good food. nice as a base to see other areas on southern part of Island and nice to be there for the evenings and to relax and walk to restaurants and bars. Great to sit in restaurants next to the beach/sea to eat at night, very relaxed atmosphere , nice staff in all restaurants we visited. Our small hotel was lovely and we enjoyed swimming in the sea each day after our travels and before breakfast. Busy enough but not crowded. All in all lovely relaxing break.
What an absolute gem 💎 doxa was the most friendly and helpful host who made me feel safe and comfortable throughout my stay. So much so I have booked to return next year! Wouldn’t stay anywhere else in Kateliós!!! Clean and comfortable rooms with fridges, air con, kettle, hot shower, brilliant wifi and regular linen and towel changes, made daily and right above the most beautiful fish restaurant. I already am counting down the days until I return! ❤️
Immaculate 8 apartment complex (two one and two bedroom). All have a very exclusive feel lead out to a number of terraced patios and a really lovely pool deck looking out to sea. Staff, especially the cleaner, were very friendly and helpful. This probably the nicest self catering apartment we have found in our travels around the greek islands. The small town of Katelios is a couple hundred metres from the complex
Peace and quiet - apart from the alarm geese down the road! The air-con was a real benefit given the temperatures whist we were there! Plenty of hot water for showers too. Lovely spacious apartment. Although no swimming pool on site, Katelios beach is a 10 min walk and there is a swimming pool further up the road at Filoxenia
Ι thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Pacifae golden village hotel, which I highly recommend.
The staff were very helpful and friendly. The room was very very clean and tidy and everything was as it should be. The pool is big . The food was superb ( definitely try the steak)! Will definitely return next summer!
Beautifully done, small and friendly property which felt very Kefalonian with a focus on local produce and nothing was too much trouble. The breakfast in room was fantastic! Worth a visit for that alone. Also loved the goat herd who roamed around during the afternoon. They were so entertaining!
Spotlessly clean, well equipped and comfortable accommodation, welcoming hosts who went the extra mile, and lots of thoughtful touches. Good location too - walking distance of various beaches and restaurants. Great value and Highly recommended.
Modern clean apartments, with lovely pool area set back from main road. Easy 10 min walk into centre. Good base to explore katelios and beyond. Parking on site
Excellent location 5 min walk to main attractions of Katelios
Great owner by the name of Spiro who went out of his way to supply cold water on a very hot day
Nice private covered patio with 2 built in lounge beds with the sea view. convenient walk to many different tavernas. short drive to quiet beach. good shower.
