Deuglawdd, hotel in Aberdaron

Located in Pwllheli in the Gwynedd region, with Aberdaron Beach nearby, Deuglawdd provides accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking.

Try to visit the Llyn at least once a year, and stay as close to Aberdaron as possible (within budget). Geoff's place was perfect for this and then some. Booked it rather spontaneously and didn't notice that breakfast was included so that was a very pleasant surprise! Home cooked and very tasty, Geoff had even found some veggie sausages for us. The location was up a little lane that we'd never explored before but easy to find and with parking :)

We stayed here for 2 nights at the end of a week’s stay in North Wales. It was the perfect spot in which to relax as it is away from the crowds and has a lovely beach. There are a couple of hotels, and one or two gift shops. We stayed and ate at the Ty Gwesty. There appeared to be coastal walks from the village but we didn’t do them.

Aberdaron is a small village at the end of the Llyn...

Aberdaron is a small village at the end of the Llyn peninsula, with a beautiful beach and lots of history, being on the ancient pilgrim route to Bardsey Island. Do visit the 12th Century church of St Hywyn right by the beach. For a small place the local facilities are very good - 2 hotels with good restaurants (stayed at both and recommend both of them), a chippy whch serves lobster and crab, 2 cafes (one in a 9th century building), a bakery with tempting treats and an ice-cream and pizza shop by the beach (recommend their pizzas!)

Absolutely stunning views, a few local shops, the bakery has a lovely selection of cakes and pies and the staff are so helpful. The little cafe in the village is very hit and miss as to when its open, diesnt seem to have any regular opening hours. Both pubs in the village are welcoming we only ate at gwesty, would recommend booking in advanced as gets busy in peak times, especially the terrace with the views overlooking the sea. Will most definitely be back to aberdaron 👍👍👍

Lovely bathroom, spacious with separate bath and shower. Partial sea view which we hadn't expected Great breakfast. Cooked breakfast had quality ingredients and well cooked. No pressure to eat cooked breakfast as there is in some hotels, and plenty of good alternatives. Good brown toast with a bit of substance to it (again not found in many hotels)

The hotel was in a perfect position, being able to look straight out of the window at the beach from both our bedroom and the dining room was fantastic. The staff were really helpful and friendly and the food was plentiful and to a good standard. Our bedroom was larger than we expected with everything we needed. We did n't want to leave!

Loved being right on Aberdaron’s spectacular beach —fantastic view and so convenient. Room was extremely pleasant, as was the bathroom. All the employees at Ty Newydd couldn’t have been more helpful or more cheerful. Food was also very good, and the restaurant’s outdoor patio hanging over the beach was fabulous.
