The hotel was very stylish and the staff was super friendly. The room we had was cozy and modern. Also the housekeeping was excellent. A highlight was the public bath on the roof, with complimentary ice cream after a visit. The location was great. Right in the middle of Nagoya, with many interesting places to visit and explore. A nice park was right next to the building and Conbinis are just around the corner. The Ghibli Park is also only 50 min away from the hotel.

I loved Nagoya.
I loved Nagoya. Locals are so friendly - we were looking for a place to eat and a very kind gentleman from the government building actually came up to us and asked us if he could help us. Even though he was working, he took 10 minutes to show us which direction to go for Nagoya castle, and explained to us how the card system works. Japan is amazing. Thankyou for your wonderful hospitality.

Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been.
Nagoya is the best city I’ve ever been. It’s busy environment, crowds, great sceneries, transportation system and offcourse the city illumations are really heart throbbing. It deserves one time visit in a life time. I’ve even been to Tokyo’s Ginza, Shibuya, Shinjuku but my personal experience is that Nagoya is much better and convenient then them.

Nagoya's not like your other big cities in Japan (like Osaka, Kyoto, Tokyo, Fukuoka). There aren't many standout sightseeing spots or the like, so it might feel a bit dull if you are expecting those. But it is an excellent city to vibe in. Enjoy Japanese culture on a more relaxed - less touristy - way.

Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones.
Nagoya has a lot of cool areas and walkable zones. Less than some of the more touristy cities in Japan, but definitely worth visiting and exploring. Lots of tasty food and the district near my hotel was actually really pretty despite being more industrial than commercial.

We didn’t have much time to explore Nagoya as it was our starting point to travel to Shiroko for the Formula 1 race at Suzuka Circuit (Thurs- Sun) We did see a lot of Nagoya Station as we arrived & departed from there, walking to the apartment on arrival and back to the station on departure. It was an easy walk, not busy with many pedestrians until nearing the station. We went to the mini marts (7 Eleven also) numerous times for food and drink which we carried home. Also had meals at several of the restaurants nearby. A great location and wonderful accommodation! Would highly recommend.
Great value for money. Buffet of traditional Japanese breakfast items was excellent. There is a tax-free drugstore (grocery/supermarket) right across the street that opens early in the morning, and another one a few hundred feet away that opens later in the day. There is a variety of restaurants and convenience stores in the area. The Science Museum, Electric Museum, and Art Museum are within short walking distance. The entry with elevator to the train station going to Nagoya Station to connect to the airport is nearby.
My experience at Comfort Inn Nagoya Sakae was truly exceptional. The hotel's location, just 20 steps from Sakae Station metro exit 2, made exploring the city incredibly convenient. With numerous Izakaya restaurants nearby, finding delicious late-night dining options was a breeze. The staff were attentive and friendly, ensuring a pleasant stay from start to finish. As for the room, it provided the perfect sanctuary for a great night's sleep, with its comfortable amenities and tranquil ambiance.
The location was good. Only short walk to the subway station and only one station away from Nagoya Train Staition. The parking was free which was the main reason why we chose this hotel in the beginning. We requested the rooms to be close together but the hotel did not provide that. However, the hotel asked us to pay extra if we would like the room next to each other. So we did pay extra. This means that the rooms were available but they just want to charge extra.
it is about a 9 minute walk to Nagoya station. their smart TV shows a live feedback on the status of the laundry machine. so we get to know if any of the machine is available or the amount of time left for our washing to be done in the comfort of our room. the room is quite small for 2 adults and 2 children but this is a business hotel and in city centre so we should not expect the room to be very big.
The value for the money is pretty outstanding in this hotel:) room was big, bed was very comfortable, facilities in bathroom were just mindblowing and that there was a private sauna in the room it was just the cherry on top:)
Location is also conveniente, max 10min walk from main train station.
If I ever return to Nagoya I am 100% sure I will book a room here again:))
Everything was amazing and the staff were so sweet and to be honest the best people we've met in Nagoya!
Room was spacious, clean and the hotel is not that far from the subway station 15 minutes (exit 12)
To be honest, this hotel is stunning, feel like a 5 stars and the breakfast very delicious you can choose between 3 restaurants :).
Amazing value for money! Located pretty close to Nagoya Station. Very good breakfast. The hotel is modern, extremely clean and offers everything you need for a comfortable stay and then some. My stay in Nagoya was unexpectedly extended for another night. I did not even think twice as to which hotel to book for the extra night.
Good location from Nagoya central station. We decided to walk and it was about 15 mins.
The hotel is dated, but is very good value for money. The room was adequate for what we needed for the two days. The amenities on offer were really good and the staff were lovely and spoke brilliant English.
It's very convenient place to stay, very near JR Nagoya Station, then you can reach easily for Osaka, Kyoto and Tokyo. The room is quite spacious and very clean, the amenities is supplied free in the front lobby with face cleaning, moisture, lotion etc... I feel very comfortable with the hotel.
The hotel is in a convenient location within reasonable walking distance of shopping districts and is close to Nagoya Station by public transport. The room was great and the self-serve amenities and free hot coffee/cocoa machine helped make this one of the higher quality hotels in Japan.
There is an amenity bar that includes drip coffee bags and one's choice of pillow. The hotel is directly behind Nagoya station and easily reached through the underground shopping area. The room was small, as expected, but well organized and comfortable.
Wonderful hotel, the location was one stop away from the Central Nagoya station and very easy to get to. Rooms are very quite, spacious and comfortable. Staff was attentive and amazing. Requested same day laundry service and it exceeded expectations.
The hotel itself is very nice, the amenities are great as well. I only stayed one night but Nagoya seems like a great place to take a personal trip. The location is perfect since the hotel is at Nagoya station itself, you don't even have to go out.
This is a great budget hotel with a luxury hotel feeling. Close to station, room small but tastefully decorated and clean, staff speak English and are very helpful. If you need a place near Nagoya station, I definitely recommend this hotel.
Its close to everything. Just a few minute walk to shopping centers, train station, restaurants and its so accessible. Its our second time to stay here. If we come back to nagoya, we will still choose to stay in this hotel.
The bath (sentō) is quite nice (used by both hotel guests and locals). Location is close to Nagoya station (in the quiter area to the East of it), and there are many restaurants and cafés around.
