The hotel was very well located in front of the lake, with all amenities to have a great time in the water. it also had a spa with sauna, steam bad and pool. The scenery is incredible and definately recommend to get a room with view of the lake.

The property is located in the hills in a nice quiet place with panoramic views.
We booked a 40 m2 quadruple room, very large and bright with a nice balcony with panoramic views.
The pool area is delightful, large and very private.
The evening breakfast and restaurant service is great with outdoor space.
The staff were very nice and helpful.

It is always great stay at Worthersee with great food, very good access to the private beach, different options for water sports in place. People leading the object to everything to make your stay wonderful and hard to forget. There are many alpine roads around, Zoo and parks so no matter if it is raining or super hot there is always something to do and if in doubt you can always ask and get help and inspiration for the day

Velden is large enough to have every facility one could expect on a vacation and is beautifully located at the end of the Worthersee. Additionally one can drive to mountain walks , country restaurants and pubs or take a train for wider shopping in nearby Klagenfurt with ease

Did not give so much importance to tourist aspects, because it was a stage on a car trip from Germany to Italy. Position on lake is nice and city center was quite animated. Took little train and that was a pleasant ride, with good comments (in German only). Looks overall like a very friendly place.

Rustical location, solid Austrian countryside. Positively surprised that grocery stores were open on Sunday. Negatively surprised that I could not actually reach the lake - it was tightly surrounded by private properties. I would have expected maybe a walkway / bike trail around the lake.

Velden am Wörthersee is comparable to Monaco in my opinion. There are another type of Austrians and another lifestyle. There is a lot to see and a lot more to do and enjoy. Nice landscapes and nature spots all over the neighborhood.

Beautiful small city near the lake, on the other side of Klagenfurt. Nice bars, walking patches and the most amazing concert venue in the world - Bluesiana Rock Cafe Velden, with great live blues and rock music from all over the world, and the nicest owner ever.

We liked its rather unique combination of a charming atmosphere of an old villa from the Habsburg times with all the expected modern amenities. One of the major advantages of this two-villa ("Miralago" + "Augsdorf") complex is its direct private access to the lake from a well-equipped wooden platform, allowing to take a swim in the clean waters of Wörthersee at any time of the day and night.

The place is right on the lake with a private grass area, and the ability to swim straight into the lake. Plenty of room to relax, with the hotel providing sunloungers, umbrellas, floaties. The room was spacious and clean, comfy bed, large bathroom with really good shower pressure. There are no cooking facilities but there is a small fridge and a larger fridge in the common area. There are a few restaurants nearby either by walking or a short drive.

The property had sufficient parking for all guests (and having a car is essential with this hotel as it’s pretty far away from all city activities). It had plenty of on-site activities, especially for kids. Perfect breakfast. Very quiet neighborhood with fantastic view of mountains and green fields. The hotel also offered rent services, e.g. both normal and e-bikes.

Our arrival was on my birthday and the manager made my day by giving us a better room as my birthday present. The breakfast is excellent and the food of the restaurant is of a very high quality. We will stay in the same hotel next times we travel to Velden am Wörtersee!
