The Hotel & staff were great including the meals.
The Hotel & staff were great including the meals.
The views, location perfect.
The problem was we had 2 nights booked. Our room overlooked the pool but the verandah leaked as the construction may have not been finished. We had limited sleep for the night.
In the morning we reported the issue to Reception & arranged for a room upgrade for the remaining 2nd night.
I still find this a shortfall in regards to lost sleep which is the primary issue of the Hotel.

Front beach is fairly drab except if you have little kids.
Front beach is fairly drab except if you have little kids. Not much parking. Shops are all boring designer galleries and clothing for older women and not much else at all - which explains the demographic of this posh and overtly wealthy area. Nothing much to do outside of the beach and pub. 2 gigantic trendy pubs. Ocean beach is great but like all Victorian beaches, extremely rugged and windy. It's a great place to stay to visit Portsea which has a much better beach experience with a great pier and absolutely massive pub with great atmosphere.

Sorrento is a small but busy town with lots of shops and restaurants. I cooked most of the time but did have great fish and chips from Fish Fetish, a tasty Vanilla Slice from The Vanilla Slice Cafe and ice cream and smoothies from Mubble.
Parking spaces in the main street (Ocean Beach Rd) are hard to find most of the time except after 1800 hours.

Sorrento was a great stop along our way.
Sorrento was a great stop along our way. Very nice village atmosphere. Great boutiques - both male and female. We ate at the Italico, Stringers and The Baths all serving lovely food. The staff at all three restaurants were very friendly and helpful. We were there for the dawn Anzac ceremony which was very beautiful. Coffee afterwards at Stringers which, I think, opened especially for the people attending the ceremony.
There are great walking paths here. The Mornington Penninsula National Park is absolutely worth a visit. You could spend a day or two here exploring the walks, the Quarantine Centre and Fort Nepean.

Rooms were amazing – large, well appointed and great styling. We had a room overlooking the pool with a large deck. The ambience of the hotel made us feel like we are back in Italy. Beautiful restaurants and a good sports bar. Also the location is perfect. Beautiful view of waterfront and watch the fairies coming and going. Very short walk literally 100 m or so to shopping and waterfront and other hotels and restaurants
Convenient location. Easy walk to shopping precinct. Short drive to where I needed to be for work. Nice thought of 2 complimentary beers in fridge (tho' didn't drink). At the time of booking, the most economical stay in Sorrento I found. Staff were friendly. As a motel, it was as I expected. Simple needs met as in a clean comfortable bed, kitchenette facilities and suitable bathroom.
Location….in the middle of Sorrento, with walking access to everything.
Very nice design of hotel and bedrooms with a high quality finish.
Bedroom is small…but perfectly formed!
Food was excellent too. We had breakfast, lunch and dinner…all very good.
Great location. Quiet, easy to go on coastal walks or walk to shops. Great information booklets on everything in the property as well as local advice. Eco friendly. Modern facilities. Excellent communication from owner. Very clean and comfortable.
The location of this property is brilliant. Set back from the road so it is very quiet and a nice walk to Sorrento main street.
Well sized to host a large family with a fantastic outdoor area overlooking the pool - definitely the highlight.
Beautiful hotel, with a wonderful pool deck and gorgeous spa attached (Aurora). Included breakfast options were excellent 👌 All the staff were lovely and super helpful. Looking forward to my next stay 😁
The check in and parking were seamless.
The location is a short walk down the street from the main shopping strip at Sorrento so we didn’t need the car for the weekend!
Great location for a wedding in Sorrento, plenty of parking and basic enough to tide us over for a single nights stay. I wouldnt rule out staying here again if needed.
Big and spacious lounge, kitchen and dining room.
Fireplace is a bonus. Good location. In the middle of the heart of Sorrento shopping street but a quiet apartment.
Quiet Location walking distance to Sorrento shops, front & back beaches.
Fully equipped kitchen.
5 bedrooms & good simple layout for a family stay.
Nice ambiance.
Good value for money hotel. It also doubles up as a shared workplace / live-in space accommodation. I found the inmates a friendly and helpful bunch of residents.
