Weeroona Bed And Breakfast, hotel in Rye

Set on 3 acres of landscaped tropical gardens, this B&B offers self-contained accommodation on the beautiful Mornington Peninsula. Guests can enjoy breakfast overlooking the heated swimming pool.

This is one of the best properties I have had the pleasure to stay in. We booked the Grange Jacuzzi Suite and WOW. So much room - so much luxury and the outdoor spa underneath the sail was uniquely amazing. No details in the presentation and thoughtfulness went unnoticed. This is much more than your average B&B. Exceptional hosts provided the most amazing country breakfast on the deck overlooking the pool. Margaret is the perfect host. She even called me the night before to make sure I had everything I needed on arrival. Simply you won't find better accommodation on the Mornington Peninsula. We will absolutely be returning guests!

Although initially disappointed with our caravan park as it had no ocean view I was later happy with location. It was short walk to foreshore and shops. Easy access to road leading to Sorrento. Rye unfortunately does not have access to jetty as it is still under reconstruction. Playground etc for kids, nice beach. Heaps cafes of all nationality on highway opposite beach. Driving from Sorrento where the ferry comes in along the coast was scenic.

There were many beaches to choose from for a quiet dip in the ocean. Not may dog friendly beaches and definitely not enough dog poop disposal bins. Rye is lovely for families, campers and younger people. My mother in law struggled with all the walking. Loved the hidden treasures and nature reserves.

Loved being close to the beach and also other sites within the peninsula. We went to the hot springs (great to go for the twilight session) and did a walk to Bushrangers Bay in Cape Shank. There are good places to eat in Rye and also close by.

Excellent accommodation. Super comfortable and spacious room, came with an added sitting room as well. Very clean and neat. Located on a quiet street , yet within easy walk to the beach, the Rye pier and the shops. Great base to explore the peninsula. The breakfast was superb - best in Rye - the scrambled eggs were like pillows of clouds perfectly lightl seasoned with a touch of chives, with perfectly cooked mushrooms and tomatoes which enhanced their natural sweetness.

I liked that it was a little bit away from Rye's main area because I've stayed there before, and it was noisy as all get-out. I also liked that the host was really attentive and polite. The beach is close by, and I like how many amenities and cookware were available in this rental. The bed was also incredibly comfy, which was a major benefit. We appreciate the gracious host's hospitality, and we look forwards to returning soon!

location was great. some really good extra features provided like a beach buggy, pizza oven, outside shower to wash sand off, big TV, good washing machine and dryer. the outside area was really great (although the outside umbrella didn’t provide much shade in the afternoon). Upstairs wasn’t disgustingly hot even on the really hot days- we were able to use air con for a bit then the fans provided to keep cool overnight.

The house was amazing, we had an excellent stay here. It has a great location which is close to the pier and the peninsula hot springs. The house was very clean and tidy, all the dishes were well washed. The landlord is very nice and always responds to our messages quickly and effectively ( thank you!!). Overall, we all recommend you to choose this place if you are looking for a clean and cozy place to stay.

Location was fabulous for walking access to Rye front beach, shops and restaurants. A short drive to Sorrento. The toilet and shower block was central and close, and beautifully renovated in modern styling. Kids being able to scoot around on site, and the space to have pets and park your car near the front door was fabulous. The decorations and kitchen equipment was perfect for our short stay.

The studio is under a two-story home that appears to rent other areas of the house as accommodation also; so we came across other guests that weren’t residents I believe, but the studio itself felt private. It’s in a very handy location in Rye, on the Mornington Peninsular, close to beaches and cafes and has everything required for a short stay. The bathroom was particularly lovely.

Good location, walking distance to Rye beach. Cafe near by. Driving distance to supermarket & more restaurants/cafes. Room was clean. Had fridge, kettle & cutlery/plates. A decent room if your on a budget & are not fussed about room size or decor. Easy check in & out. A little noise from road but it didn't bother us. Parking spot.

Location was spot on as we could walk to most places around Rye. Bed was soooo comfortable, first times in months I haven't woken up with a sore back, and the window furnishings cut out most of the light. Overall would stay here again!!! Pity we didn't get to see the owners :(

Cottage is totally separate from the main house which works well for both owners and guests. Accommodation was made for our very late arrival. Very roomy with everything one needs. Location was an easy walk to the beach and close to the golf course which is why we were there.

Homely cosy lil cottage with sufficient amenities. The dryer, the fridge and stove were super useful. There was a good guidebook introducing us to the area and the food places which we appreciate. We also love the boardgames and deck of cards.
