Leura is a picturesque quient town with a selection of independent shops and cafés. It is in a great location to visit the Blue Mountains and all the surrounding visitor attractions it has to offer. It also has a local train station for trips to adjacent towns. Katoomba is only a 10 minutes or less drive away for a greater selection of supermarkets, stores and dining/drinking options, if required.

Leura is a lovely town with a plethora of eating places within walking distance. The Alexandra Hotel, circa 1908, is a modern bistro setting within a grand dining room and quality al fresco veranda seating as well as classical beer garden furniture in a large grassed area overlooking the railway line and great scenery beyond. The hotel can be reached along a quick track beside the Leura Station which stands at the top of the main street.
A special treat is High Tea at the Teapot Museum (5,000+ teapots) at the other end of the main street.
Opportunities for walks and sightseeing are endless, either by foot or car or the Hop On Hop Off bus. The scenery and feeling of well being due to the natural environment cannot be measured.

Great central location in the Blue Mountains.
Great central location in the Blue Mountains. Peaceful little village that had everything, but without the hustle of a city, or even Katoomba. Only 8 minutes from the 3 sisters, scenic world, Minnie haha falls etc.
Fantastic places to eat, right near Spires Accommodation.

OMG what a beautiful little town. The main street is packed with beautiful artisan shops and cafes (cafes most closed by 3pm but there is an exceptional one there offering loads of yummy stuff for you or gifts for others). Close to many tourist attractions too. LOVE LUEURA.

Great for a break from the kids.
Great for a break from the kids. Not too long a drive from Sydney. Good roads and accomodation, lovely people. A lot of great eateries, bakeries and cafes. Good to shop for locally produced goods or to look through antique stores. Try to book when there are weekend markets anywhere between Glenbrook and Blackheath. Especially good if the Leura Fair is on that weekend. Our go to place for a short break.
This is a very large quiet, complex with very comfortable rooms and a beautiful surrounding garden. It's very close to the Fairmont Resort and Leura Golf club. The continental breakfast supplied is generous. I like that they no longer provide tiny plastic bottled toiletries. The balcony onto the garden got great morning sun and the free use of the laundry is also generous.
There is also table tennis, a swimming pool for summer and a terrific cubby house for children.
Location was great... a short stroll to the Main Street in Leura. Loved the log fire lit on our arrival and well set up with plenty of wood and kindling Kitchen was great with everything you needed for cooking and entertaining, comfy furniture, ample bedding warm and cosy. Lovely outlook to the back garden. Hosts were very accomodating when we requested a later departure time. Immaculately maintained.
on the way to the Blue Mountains, we found this very conveniently located Guest house- close to a gorgeous small garden city Leura full of coffee shops and nice restaurants, Tranquil House- gorgeous view from our bedroom to a lush green peaceful garden zen. -incredible shower and super soft towels:) great internet connection, clean and fresh, very friendly staff, highly recommended. Zana and Dima
It was luxurious. The beds, the sinks, the taps, the rooms, the furniture, the entertainment, the BBQ, the spa, the blinds, the location - everything was top notch. One of the best rentals we’ve ever stayed at. Blackout automatic shutters, comfiest couch known to man, massive dining spaces, it was just awesome. Close to leura and many lovely walking tracks/waterfalls etc.
The location was very picturesque and tranquil overlooking the Leura golf course. Beautiful neighbourhood for walks etc. The accommodation at Leura Gardens was very basic, minimal, clean and neat - a "no frills" place. Close to Leura village and Katoomba, which was convenient.
The front desk staff were very helpful and accommodating.
A great location. Close walking distance to the wonderful shops in Leura and with ample parking onsite. The complimentary yoga session was a bonus; the breakfast ingredients were yummy and the coffee machine and fruit store were a nice touch. Only wished we could stay a little longer (and make use of the living room fire and spa)!
Very tranquil environment and good play area for the kids. I like that my kids get to experience some Chinese cultural and activities. Our family room is spacious and modern. Love the share kitchen. Feng and Lee are very easy going and accomodating. My boys love their painting session with Feng. Thank you for the wonderful stay.
The house was immaculately presented and well stocked. It suited our large family, with plenty of space both inside and out to enjoy. Huge level backyard. A very short walk to Leura shops...loved leaving the car at home, now that Leura Mall and surrounding streets are metered. Definitely a place to stay in again.
The Old Dairy is located very close to the centre of Leura (even though you will still need a car to get between them) and is a delightful little cottage stay. The facility is rustic and really befitting the Blue Mountains vibes.
The cabin we stayed in was lovely and would most definitely come back
We are a return customer for the past few years now, what we liked..... Cleanliness, reception staff were excellent, sublime fireplace areas, chilli hot chocolate😀
We love fairmont for its inside cosiness and warmness. Cant wait for the winter xmas in july time.
Very happy with food provided for breakfast. Location is perfect. Just a short walk to Leura Mall and Hop On, Hop Off bus enabling us to do many walks in the Blue Mountains. Holley House has a magnificent garden which we enjoyed with a glass of bubbly. 😀
Overall a great experience with lots of activities if you want to bring your kids
Old school arcade for the adults plus kids arcade, pool, spa, day spa, restaurants and full breakfast. Staff always helpful and kind will go above and beyond for you
The area it's located in. The kitchen was well equipped
The space around the house was not too cramped that no one can move around freely. Close to the look out.
necessary items for bathing. A fire place was good for the rainy days.
Gorgeous little mountain cottage, absolutely stuffed with interesting things. Garden is a delight, full of artworks. Very comfortable and cosy. Close to Leura Village and Blue Mountains attractions. Very quiet and peaceful area.
Loved the authentic Australian cottage, its furnishings and garden space. It was clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Location was perfect to take in the blue mountains in the area, and to browse the local shopping mall.
We liked the location, it is walking distance from downtown Leura.
It is dog friendly
Easy checking, everything was ready for us on our arrival.
2 or 3 sentences are not enough to describe how good was our stay.
The property was very well located, quiet and relaxing. It was outstandingly clean and fresh when we arrived and was warm and cosy with plenty of space for a family of 5. Definitely will return.
Location was close to Leura town centre. Great to stay in winter - plenty of heaters and each bed had a heated blanket. Living/dining/kitchen area was nice and spacious
