Clean and adequate for our one night stay. Friendly staff and, being out of holiday time it was nice and quiet.
I do the Ironman event each year. I plan to come back and stay for a holiday lots to see, I love the bats and the Botanical garden. The swim circle thing is excellent although has a strong urine smell near the facilities.
Lots of paths for cycling and the Barwon river has an excellent walking track all along. Great place for active people.
If you're into food then you're in for a treat, lots of cafe and restuarants offering a great range of quality foods. I had some delicious crepes on the foreshor.

Geelong city is a very nice place.
Geelong city is a very nice place. It has a long fresh air beach with a lot of seagulls flying around and basking in the sun. It is a city for people who love running and cycling. A city where you can come back to nature with many kinds of birds such as Cockatoos, Magpies...

I stayed the night as I was catching the Spirit of Tasmania early the following morning. I would have been very happy to have spent longer to explore Geelong. Where I stayed was very convenient, quiet and easy walking distance to restaurants.

The waterfront is lovely; Eastern beach has beautiful park surrounds that reflect an elegance of an earlier era; many restaurants with great cuisine; art galleries; the botanic gardens are delightful.

Melbourne without the crowds.
Melbourne without the crowds. There are some great restaurants and cafe's in Geelong but without having to deal with the crowds of Melbourne. If you want to go to Melbourne we got a train which was easy and comfortable and took around 50 minutes. Great wineries nearby and if you want a day trip Great Ocean Road or Otway National Park are within a couple of hours drive.
The building is spectacular. The best rebuild and renovation I have ever seen. Great beds, fine linen, great heating and quality fittings. For my disabled colleague, the shower was accessible and a pleasure to use. Secure parking is appreciated and the locale excellent. Absolutely amazing space with modern and tasteful, furniture, including controlled blinds.
A wonderful secret place to enjoy Geelong. close to waterfront too!
Location for Cadel Evans UCI road race excellent both for public ride and watch professional Women’s and Men’s race .
Easy access to Geelong CBD and ring road.
Large lounge for everyone and overflow bungalow below for latecomers !
Bedrooms good size.
Lovely large rear garden with sunrise view.
BBQ worked well.
Very helpful bookings agent with prompt replies and all questions answered. Excellent.
The room was excellent, clean comfortable and impressed with the size of the bathroom. The internet connection was fuss free and worked better than other places we have stayed in. It had everything you needed for a great stay, we had a courtyard that was great. would recommend to anyone wanting to stay on the Geelong waterfront.
I am so grateful to Rydges Geelong. As a disabled woman they accommodated my mobility scooter.
They helped to store and charge it.
I was also provided with a disability access room for my stay.
I would highly recommend this hotel for people with disabilities.
The staff were also kind and polite at all times.
Staff member that checked me in was great. Friendly and welcoming. One of the more comfier beds and not the usual hard as a rock type. The few minor things were not a deterrent and will definitely make it my go-to accommodation when having to go down to Waurn Ponds
The location was unbeatable - right on the waterfront! It was great having off street secure parking available. The apartment was equipped with most everything you could need for your stay. Visiting Geelong was a pleasure - the waterfront is so family friendly.
Nice clean room to stay in for one night during a weekend at Geelong. didn't expect to see an insect spray which fortunately wasn't needed, unlike a Ballarat we stayed at earlier this year where we found a few crickets inside but no insect spray...
very easy to find.
All info sent through to access property (keys etc), detailed instructions within the property.
Very clean.
Easy walk to Geelong central, beach, gardens and restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
Excellent hotel with new high quality fixtures and fittings in room. Comfortable bed. Very clean. friendly helpful staff. Good location in the Botanical gardens. Very central to Geelong.
Loved my stay here - only wish I had more time! Attended a wedding in Geelong, was a beautiful apartment with nice views of waterfront and easy to get an Uber to the event and back.
The hotel room was spacious, check in and check out were easy. Staff were nice and accommodating, though we had to request an extra towel; they only provided 2 towels for 3 guests.
Great location, easy walk to bars and restaurants. Stayed in a hotel-style room which was spotlessly clean, large room, huge bed and a lovely balcony. Staff were so friendly!
The welcoming staff and the warm and friendly housekeeping staff ~ good staff make a successful business and The Quest Apartments in Geelong reflect that
Basic hotel, no fancy trimmings but very clean, comfortable and well located to the CBD and waterfront area. Comfortable bed, cosy room and great shower.
