Everything was excellent, starting with a welcome at Reception right through to drinks and dinner. The rooms are quiet, clean and the rain shower is just awesome. Love sleeping here the beds are always very comfy. Food at Parcels Restaurant is always exceptional. This Hotel has awesome staff, always very friendly and helpful, honestly this is why we stay here.

Great View. slightly disappointed we didn't have a balcony. A bath tub would have been a bonus but we knew we may not get one.

I visited the Farmers Market which was fun. I also had a takeaway meal of blue cod, oysters and homemade chips from Best Cafe. The meal was amazing.
I visited a part of the Botanic gardens which was lovely and watched a women’s rugby game at Opoho, just above the Gardens. We were treated to beautiful weather and a large flocks of wood pigeons!

It was very cold, but luckily it didn't rain and where we've stayed our heatpump was amazing. Dunedin is beautiful with very old beautiful buildings and lots of noisy students walking in the main streets until very late talking very loud and kicking rubbish bins.

We just stayed one night on our way to Stewart island as we have been here many times.
We did a trip to Port Chalmers as we hadn’t been there. It a a cute town with a working port. Worth a look and a bit of a walk around.
This is the second stay here for us. Both stays have been awesome. The motel apartments are absolutely huge and super comfortable. Motel staff members are super nice people. Even get some milk on arrival, newspapers daily and new towels and rubbish taken from the room each day. The motel apartments are definitely dated but that goes with the Dunedin experience and the apartments have character and the comfort factor. Extremely great value for money as very affordably priced compared to other accommodation.
everything in this apartment is high end and luxury in a historical building!
love the furniture and interior design! full of Victorian character!
love the food, coffee and tea provided.
Dan is a great host! we had a little problem with the microwave in one of the evenings. after messaged Dan, he rang me immediately and had Andrew came and fixed it in a minute! that was incredible! Bell Hill apartment is the highlight of our Dunedin trip!
absolutely loved the location and property everything was perfect. We arrived early to what check in is and was able to get our room straight away.
staff are very friendly and helpful. we loved Quint who was at concierge and helped us plan a few must do things in Dunedin.
they even had later check out than usual hotels. would definitely stay there again if ever in Dunedin again.
The rooms were spacious and comfortable.
Also in the southern side of the city which makes it an easy drive to the airport.
the layout was very nice, we had a 2 bedroom unit and the floor plan made it easy to move around in the apartment without getting in the way of other people. For example, the bathroom and kitchen were not on top of each other which you often see in motels.
Great communication with John before and during our stay. Great sized bathroom and washer/dryer helped sort out our 'holiday clothes', After mastering the steep hills we did enjoy a great meal at the Cable Hotel literally down the hill. Local shops a bonus. Outlook great and felt very private.
Cheap as chips so it is what it is. (you get what you pay for)?
On that note travelling around the cost of New Zealand ..... the most comfortable beds ever. compare this to the likes of 5* hotel apartments the staff efficient straight to the point .. but the best beds thus far.
The drive up into the building told me this place is zany. And it is. Very groovey alt-mural vibe. It's very euro-micro-hotel. Just do it. Proximity to CBD is perfect. Nice 500m walk to the cafe-bar precinct, and DUnedin such a wonderful wee city rto wander aanyways.
The facilities fitted in with just what I required. A mixture of hotel/motel facilities providing me with what I wanted, what was available to me and my own in/out privacy. A great combination and I will definitely come again.
Walking into complete luxury! Hotel was beautiful. The furnishings were stunning, the bed was heavenly beautiful linen, pillows and comfort was exceptional! The bathroom was just luxurious.
Everything was just stunning!
We stayed in their standard room and it was not "standard". Modern apartment look. Showers' swell! Room is warm and cozy, close to the octagon and central Dunedin shops, plenty street Car parking available. Netflix.
Beautifully appointed in soothing blue-gray tones. Pristine, well maintained, modern, perfection. Loved the jacuzzi tub, monogrammed linens and bathrobes. Best hotel in all NZ so far. Loved our 3 night stay at BG!
The design, the beds - cleanliness and big windows. Despite being a smaller hotel everything felt big and wide open. Wonderful ambience. And lovely staff!
