Perfect stay in Provence (4th time in Hotel l'Amandiere for me). Comfortable rooms, very good breakfast, easy to reach both by car and walking (Saint-Rémy-de-Provence). Big bonus - charming cat neighbour😁

Great location, very close to the centre of St Remy but very very quiet. Didn’t really feel like a hotel, more like a bed and breakfast. No communal areas such as a bar appeared to be open when we were there (October). Room was comfortable although furnishings were quite sparse …shabby chic.

Friendly staff, excellent location and I had a lovely view of the Alpilles from my room. Room was clean and well-presented. I liked the bedside lamps which enabled me to recharge my phone via the usb point, without the need for cumbersome adaptors from UK devices.

We loved the availability of good restaurants and a large supermarket not far from the town centre. We enjoyed the history of the area (Roman and Art) and the natural features of the surrounding areas of Provence.

We only stayed for 4 nights, it was not enough, wish it could have been a couple of weeks. The area is beautiful and tranquil, felt so relaxed there, yet there is also so much to do. Although only a short stay we took a boat trip in the Carmague (from St Marie sur Mer) stopped at Arles to see the Coliseum, visited Pont Gard, walked on the bridge at Avignon, followed the Van Gogh trail and explored Glanum. On our way back to Nice we stopped at Aix. Good food and wine was always close by and the people we met most friendly. Would love to return one day.

St.Remy is the kind of town that you fall in love with. There are so many restaurants to choose from and all of them are really good. The people of St.Remy are friendly and helpful and for the shoppers there is something different for everyone in the beautiful little streets of St.Remy.
The walk-about tour of Vincent van Gogh is lovely to experience.

St Remy is a gorgeous village in Provence, with lots of little lanes to get lost in and plenty of lovely shops and restaurants to visit and keep you entertained. A must on a visit is the free walking tour of the sights that inspired van Gogh which finishes at Saint-Paul Asylum - where he self-admitted himself. It is also a great place from which to explore the surrounding countryside and villages

Market day was fabulous, and restaurants though a couple of restaurants wouldnt allow us to share meals, being older people our appetities are smaller and while if they were full could understand but when restaurant not even half full felt that was being a bit precious. Otherwise people friendly and helpful, our hotel "Melody" were very helpful and welcoming. Loved the small viiages up in the hills we visited
People driving though should be more considerate and stop tail gating please.

The location was excellent and quiet even though it’s in the active pedestrian zone. The two men who run the hotel also run the restaurant below so look for them at La Cuisine des Agnes when you want to check in. Our room was number 4 and the little twin bed was under a sloping roof with some beefy wooden beams that were potentially real head bonkers. But, the beds were comfortable and the window opened out over a courtyard with a gurgling fountain. Breakfast was self- serve and there are a few outdoor chairs and tables you can sit at.
The hotels meets expectations.
Tiny rooms are furnitured from everything they could collect around and very noisy. The bathroom and toilet are inconvenient. But the people working there are marvelous, the breakfast is tasty ant the lobby interior is inventive. All together make a feeling of real French hotel as it was 40 years ago. The hotel is surrounded by numerous bars and restaurants, where people are just sitting and enjoying the life. You can do it as well. It is priceless.
Do not hesitate to stay at this accommodation in Saint-Remy-de-Provence. This accommodation is literally in the heart of the beautiful old town. I love the fact it is in an art gallery in the middle of everything. Lovely host who put out lovely breakfast. Super modern bathroom with lovely towels, etc. Can't fault it. Only bit of advice is bring your eye mask if you like a dark room as curtains are sheer. A super stay, would love to return.
The hotel is an older style with a sense of warmth and style set in pleasant grounds.
There is an onsite but detached restaurant available for breakfast or dinner although we did not take either.
Pleasant lounge area adjacent to check-in.
The room and bathroom were of very good standard.
Ample onsite free parking.
so central to the village and the couple who run the hotel could not be nicer. they gave us restaurant recommendations which were spot on and all sorts of advice. in general they are welcoming and discreet. I wanted to stay longer ! the first time I’ve had that feeling - ever!
immaculately clean, rooms were large, very nicely decorated, great air conditioning, hotel manager (Lila) and the maid who worked on Tues, Thurs, and Sunday, were great hosts…Would love to return and will recommend others…
The hotel's common areas such as courtyard, pool, and rooftop were the best part of the hotel. The location was perfect for walking the downtown of Saint-Remy. The staff was polite and accommodating.
Disregard the 3 star rating of this hotel, it's better than most 4 star hotels we have been to.
It's relaxed, great pool area and big rooms all within walking distance of Saint Remy.
The peacefulness of the hotel in the midst of St Remy; the large landscaped garden and the pool. It feels like a little oasis and while the hotel was full, it never felt crowded.
-A clean, large and nicely decorated hotel room. Nice to have a fridge in the room.
-Good working air conditioning.
-In the heart of the city centre.
-Nice swimming pool.
We all loved the breakfast good healthy and fresh chioces. The hotel was all very clean. Hotel had a great location close to lots of restaurants and shops.
