Great position in the heart of St Malo. Can usually get parking in the streets close to the hotel, although more difficult in high season. There is pay to park offered by the hotel if necessary. Rooms are modern and quiet, always a nice view across the kids park. Nice bar and restaurant, staff always courteous and efficient. A little more expensive than some of the traditional hotels close by, but very much worth it in my view.

Walled Gateway to France
One of the major seaports connecting France and England, Saint Malo is Brittany’s most visited town and a tourist destination in its own right.
The Old Town overlooks the English Channel and is completely surrounded by restored walls. You get a great view of them if you arrive on the ferries from England to St Malo (either direct or by the Channel Islands). Once an island, this citadel now shelters behind it the hundreds of sailing boats bobbing in the modern harbor.
Within the Old Town are bars and restaurants serving oysters from nearby Cancale, and many of the St Malo hotels. The most notable sights are the cathedral with its colorful, stained-glass window, and the castle - site of the town's museum.
The beaches are sandy, though the water is somewhat bracing. A causeway leads to Grand Bé, a rocky island housing the tomb of Chateaubriand, its most famous son. To the south is the 14th-century Solidor Tower, a remarkable collection of artifacts from voyages around Cape Horn. Further inland is Labyrinthe du Corsaire, a huge maze that will keep kids busy for hours.
In the Rance River, connecting the sea to Dinan, is the world’s first tidal power station. The road over it leads to Dinard Airport, the closest to Saint-Malo.
Saint Malo is a very interesting and beautiful town.
Saint Malo is a very interesting and beautiful town. It has something for everyone, whether couples or families. Outstanding medieval walled city rich in centuries of history. Inside the walled city is a beautiful labyrinth of cobbled lanes and alleys, filled with cafes, shops, restaurants and hotels. A truely unique experience that visitors should invest time to discover all there is to see. The changing tides and the effect on the local coast is remarkable to see. Best to visit at low tide.

Lovely place to visit for a long weekend ; great beaches and restaurants. We ate at Le Cale in Solidor ; great seafood but quite pricey and in a great location overlooking the bay. The Creperie also great for snacks, tapas and drinks. Great atmosphere and great views and great value for money.
Intra muros really interesting and great to walk around walls. Enjoyed walking around the peninsula between Solidor and St Malo . A great walk parc Solidor with fab views and a great private beach at low tide.
We were just out of season so weren't able to to use the sea bus across to Dinard as planned.
Stayed here July 2023 and hotel was being renovated. Aurélie and Edward told us about this and we decided to keep the reservation. Aurélie and Edward kept us informed via email and helped to make our stay as comfortable as possible. Fantastic location inside the old town walls in St Malo. They even parked your car next door in their very small car park for you and delivered it to the door as you were leaving. No breakfast service due to renovations but we were informed of all the local restaurants that do great breakfasts.
The location of this hotel was very convenient to parking just outside the old-town walls, the ferry terminal, shopping & restaurants, as well as local beaches. The bed was comfy and it was nice to have a desk. The shower had nice hot water. The staff were able to accommodate my late arrival and they were extremely helpful in making sure I retrieved some valuables that I left behind in my room. I'd recommend Quic en Groigne if you're visiting St Malo.
This was a good budget hotel offering, well placed for the cross-Channel ferry terminal, railway station and within reasonable walking distance to St Malo walled town. The place seemed well run and rooms were finished in the corporate Ibis Budget style. The breakfast service was efficient and good value for money. We parked for free on a small tree lined square nearby but there were also parking spaces immediately outside for loading and unloading.
The hotel is located within the walled city center. It is a modern building with all facilities necessary. Our suite had a large balcony.
San Malo is a wonderful city, full of restaurants and bars but still very quiet. Don't forget to have lunch or dinner at L'Ancrage for one of the best seafood meals we have ever had.
Easy access to Mont Saint Michel, a must when you are in this area. The abby on top is spectacular.
Great location to train, port and shops. A short 10 min walk to St.Malo, a famous medieval walled city rich in centuries of history, including more recent times when the Nazis locked the gates of the city to prevent the citizens from escape.. inside, the city is a beautiful labyrinth of cobbled alleys and lanes filled with cafes, shops, hotels and restaurants. Truely great experience worth investing the time to see.
Clean bright well-ventilated apartment 15 minutes walk from the walled city. There is a nearby market for food. The kitchen was well set to cook. The bed is comfortable. There is a washing machine that worked well and we used it. The living room was comfortable. There is a empty room next to the bedroom to put luggage or other things that was handy. All good.
The location in the heart of Saint-Malo was beautiful and very convenient. The cathedral and plenty of shops are nearby. You can also walk around the walls of the Intra-Muros, for impressive views. The apartment was spacious and bright, with a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the stay very much!
Very small room and bathroom, although clean, but nothing special.
Only good thing was free parking in 50m down the street
We booked because we thought it will be close to old town but we were wrong. Next time in Saint Malo we will book hotel inside the walls in old town.
Not worth the price
Good location in walled city. Very welcoming and helpful reception. Fairly standard breakfast offering but well presented in a bright room. Car parking under the hotel was a great bonus in such a location if a little adventurous to get into it.
Room was well Sited in the centre of the walled city. The hotel had a tiny lift which would not fit one person with a suitcase. However, the manager kindly assisted carrying our cases up the stairs
Room had everything needed. Very friendly staff. Hotel is located inside the old walls of the city Saint-Malo, everything (restaurants, beaches, bars,...) are a couple of minutes away.
Amazing view of the sea, great spot to view the intense waves at high tide. Hotel was clean, easy to walk to the old city of St. Malo. Street parking was free.
