The room was very small and dark and the bed not particularly comfortable. The toilet doesn’t have a sink to wash your hands and you must go into the separate bathroom.

My visit to St Brieuc was to attend a football tournament in Ploufragen. Having visited prior to covid I was aware of the town hence return visit. As a non driver I am happy to walk into old town and down to harbour. Even as a solo, pensioner traveller walking from town to hotel location(station)late at night felt safe, unlike uk !

The town itself is ok to nice.
The town itself is ok to nice. If I had a car I would have stayed in one of the small towns or villages where no train runs. Bus to Paimpol is easy; bus to the east starts so late so as to be useless. Tourist info was very helpful.

Not really a place to holiday.
Not really a place to holiday. There were drug addicts hanging around the streets and one even tried to get in to the restaurant to use the toilets. The owner quite rightly sent him away. It was a bit scarey.

They’re doing a makeover of the town - by putting tarmac down all over the pedestrian area. Think of a dying English town, early on a Sunday morning where everything is shut and that’s Saint-Brieuc. Need to use Public toilets? Go back the hotel. Even the tourist office was shut.

Like everywhere in France, there is plenty of history here.
Like everywhere in France, there is plenty of history here. But downtown is struggling and somewhere between tired and ugly. I hate to knock anyplace as good people live there. But there is little to attract outsiders.
Nice old-fashioned hotel with very friendly host who will solve all questions. Nice caring personnel also during breakfast which was authentic French with good coffee. Surprisingly well equipped rooms with very large bathroom and comfortable beds. Close to the hotel is nice small Kebab place (4 Rue des 3 Frères le Goff) where we spent excellent time with the owner with Turkish roots but who speaks good German and his proposal to us was "You only pay if you liked the food!" And he knows how to prepare a well kebab.
The hotel although in an old historial building was very modern inside and very tastefully decorated and the rooms were comfortable and large. It is in the centre of the historical town and there is the optional extra of a car park which is very handy. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful and spoke excellent English. The restaurant was superb. The food cooked by the chef was to a very high standard and there was a good choice on the menu. There was also a very good wine selection.
Very friendly staff! Great food in the restaurant. Comfortable room and the pool/gym was a bonus! We were travelling with two teenagers and booked two rooms. The hotel called ahead and asked and amended the bed configuration in the kids room as a result. Thank You!
We happened to be there for the Pirate festival locally and had a wonderful afternoon!
This was a terrific hotel. We didn't expect the rooms to be quite so modern (in decor), but they're comfortable and we had a great stay. Breakfast was especially nice. The location is very good; it allowed us to walk all over Saint Brieuc and see what we wanted to see. There's a parking garage which guests can use for a small fee.
Everything! the hotel was beautiful and very comfortable! the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. the only thing we were sad about was that the restaurant was not open for dinner. just bad luck on our part. we did have breakfast and it was superb!I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anyone! 10/10!!
The location was great for our needs, we arrived by bike in the pouring rain and the lady in reception was very kind and helpful in getting us sorted under the circumstances. The room was large and perfect for our requirements and we ate in the hotel restaurant, food was lovely.
Both receptionists were so helpful. We had a problem getting our PCR test results, and the help we had from reception made all the difference.
The hotel is in a really good location - just a short distance from the impressive station.
The free parking was a bonus.
This was our second visit in Saint-Brieuc and we chose the same location as the first time, because we had a great time there. That apartment has everything you need to feel good and to enjoy the holyday.
The staff were helpful, the breakfast was very good value and better than other 2 star hotels that I have stayed in. The on-suite shower was clean and in very good condition.
