I don’t usually leave reviews but this hotel is too good not to. The location, the staff, the welcome gifts and attention to detail generally, all truly special.

Welcoming host (including Ziggy the dog). Property is beautiful. We enjoyed a wonderful breakfast each morning overlooking the valley with croissants made by our host. The second morning this included the most delicious flan.
Short 10 min walk into village centre. Just far enough out to escape the crowds.
Overall just delightful & relaxing.

If you're planning on driving here with a rental car please be aware that it is extremely busy and the roads are incredibly narrow. My experienced driver was uncomfortable with parallel parking next to a precipitous drop The view that you often see in photos from the lookout near the village is beautiful but what you don't see are the lines of other people waiting to get the same shot. In short, it's incredibly touristy which does take away from the quaint ambiance I was looking for. We also visited Fontaine de Vancleur and found that village to be more manageable in terms of crowds, parking, and driving.

Gordes is a magical town, it's all walkable and you'll have plenty of choice for restaurants, be careful not to set out for dinner too late though as places seem to close quite early.
We had a fantastic meal at La Trinquette which I highly recommend. There's also a lively outdoor bar/restaurant opposite with a view!
If you're staying in the area and have access to a car, make sure you check out Abbaye Notre-Dame de Sénanque for it's beautiful exterior lined with Lavender (no need to get sucked in to the hour tour), also be sure to visit Le Sentier des Ocres, Roussillon is a stunning town and the orange Quarry is definitely something not to miss!
Parking can be quite tricky in the very heart but it's a small town and two mins up the road is a massive car park.

Gordes is a beautiful medieval village with lovely shops and restaurants and stunning views. It has a wonderful market every Tuesday morning. However it can get hectically busy during the day as it is phenomenally popular with tourists. It’s best to visit it early, around 10 am, and even at 9am on market day. Limited parking if one is not staying within walking distance nearby

Gordes is a beautiful town with amazing views, some nice shops, several good restaurants, lovely village market on Tuesday mornings.
Stayed on the hill leading up to Gordes, about a 10 minute walk from the city. Perfect location - got some exercise walking up every day, but had enjoyed the space and quiet of being outside the village
Ate at several restaurants in Gordes. Most enjoyed our meals at L'Outsider and Le Garden.
We visited early June. The village had lot's of tourists but wasn't too busy overall. Expect it would be much more crowded in July and August

Gordes has quite a lot of history which is very informative and interesting.. However in the actual village itself there is not a lot to offer. La ville sous la ville is very interesting.
The surrounding villages of Gordes are perhaps more interesting with markets and local cuisine. Lourmarin is definitely worth a visit.

We stayed in Gordes for three nights.
We stayed in Gordes for three nights. Three full days would have been fine but we lost a day going back to Aix en Provence for a private cooking class.
The Luberon area is absolutely beautiful and we enjoyed visiting many villages. Would highly recommend. Must have rental car.
Les Terrasses is perfectly situated for exploring Gordes and the surrounding area. Our accommodation was better than anticipated (even better than the photos suggest); Perle was incredibly spacious with a very comfortable bed and an excellent bathroom. We loved the two little terraces and easy access to the pool. The breakfast was superb and it was great to meet other guests and to chat to Frederic and his partner. Some great other touches too, like an aperitif one evening, which made this an exceptional stay.
Located just across the gorge overlooking the village centre. View from outside the gate is just amazing.
10 minutes walk to Gordes village with no steep hills or steps.
Quite relaxing atmosphere, no TV no AC, one room had even no window, but not bad considering the heat.
Breakfast is served on the porch. Nothing fancy, but nice croissant and fruit with coffee.
Good if you prefer little interference, but still cleaning/bed making is provided daily which is quite nice.
great location with an easy uphill walk to the town which was not far, beautiful renovated old property with lots of levels and stairs which did not bother us, great views and lovely to have a pool to cool off in. Every thing was catered for including provisions for cooking, coffee etc. , great host who met us and went through everything. It was the most beautiful property, views, location and facilities! a must-tray property in Gordes.
This was an exceptional experience, not only is the hotel beautiful in every regard, Regis and David were incredible in how they cared for us. They literally helped us plan each day out including where to visit and dine. Their recommendations were perfect to a tee. It made our stay on Provence one of the most memorable vacations we have ever had.
Thank you so much!
Amazing complex with perfect location, wonderful nature and very comfortable swimming pool. The architecture is marvelous and the connection with nature is very nice. I visit the complex with my family and we had a great time in gorgeous Provence. The nearby town of Gordes is magnificent. I highly recommend Résidence Prestige Odalys La Bastide des Chênes.
The house is really nice...the place is quite and tranquil with nice surrounding. It allows us to be relax. The location is in between Gordes and Goult, strategically located and all places are reacheable easily. Muriel is a superb host, very friendly and always ready to help. We would recommend this place highly.
Amazing location, with beautiful grounds and a short walk up the hill to Gordes. Natalie and Michel were so friendly and great hosts, helping us with recommendations in the area. Breakfast by the pool each morning was perfect and the room was so spacious and comfortable, with everything thought of.
It is a beautiful Inn within short walking distance of the village of Gordes. Comfortable, spacious, wonderfully kind staff, and delicious breakfast daily. The best! We were grateful to count it as our home base while touring the beautiful villages throughout Provence.
Really beautiful terraced garden, easy walk to village, beautiful view of Gordes castle and mountains, wonderful service from Christopher who brought us breakfast and took care of us in many ways. Delicious continent breakfast too
A lovely property with pool and chaises for lounging. It is well-located for exploring the Luberon towns and Gordes. Excellent breakfast too. Luc made dinner reservations for us and all places had great food and service.
We stayed at small hotel and had very good time, ideally located to walk to Gordes and very pleasant and friendly owners. The view is amazing and the garden is phenomenal. Great breakfast every day at the pool side.
Excellent new house. Rooms and shower, appliances in kitchen like in 5- star hotel. Very friendly host, lots of help what do see in Provence,
Taking care of us like part of his family.
Relaxing views.
They helped us alot to make reservation to restaurants.during the weekend where they were all fully booked.
The bar was open 24/7 , it was great.
Best breakfast in Provence.
The garden and architecture of this hotel are stunning and we even had our own little Sun loungers (as you can see on the photo).
