We stayed one night so that we could be up and early for the Chateau and location was right on its doorstep. There were also plenty of restaurants around for lunch or dinner.
Room decor was very chic which made for a unique experience

The gorgeous log fire in the courtyard as you walk in followed by the charming welcome by the reception staff, and then the most delightful barman for pre dinner drinks. What more could you ask for?

Centrally located, basic but very clean and sufficiently spacious, with a very comfortable bed and a modern bathroom, with friendly staff. Good value for money.
Located in the heart of Fontainebleau, ibis Château de Fontainebleau offers modern guest rooms, just 200 metres from the Palace of Fontainebleau. You can enjoy a drink from the on-site bar.
Lovely little town full of friendly people. The Chateau Fontainebleau was spectacular! My husband and I have toured Versailles twice, but always found it extremely crowded and so difficult to take things in, while being jostled by other guests. Fontainebleau was nothing like that at all. It IS a magnificent chateau, not to be missed in terms of size, architecture and beauty. What is missing is the crowds. Most of the time, we were alone in the rooms (save a few security guards). It made it so much more pleasant to be able to actually take our time and really look at things rather than being constantly jostled along by the crowds of tourists. If you are anywhere nearby, definitely take the time to see it.

Fontainebleau is easily the rival of Versailles, and the bonus is there are far less people squeezing around. The gardens are perfect for a stroll around the water features, people picnicking on the grass and exploring hidden gems within them. The Palace was amazing, without the gold bling of some but with vastly richer history and ornate features easily a match for anything.
The town clearly has a multitude of dining options, we got Italian from Pizza Mimi which was wonderful, and we found a quaint little church and some unique little shops in the short time after the Palace closed.
Skip the day-trip do yourself a favour and stay longer to properly explore everything this beautiful part of France just out of Paris has to offer.

We had a family break celebrating my 60th birthday on Easter Sunday and we met up with family who live nearby. There is plenary to do for the Easter break in the hotel. They provide everything you need and more. Lovely feel staff friendly. We didn’t eat food as we did our own celebrations but it looked lovely and well laid out. I would happily stay here again.

We took the tourist train thru the gardens to get our orientation, then did our own walk. Even in October it was a great walk.
Did a self guided tour of the chateau with an audio guide - much better with the guide than it would have been without. Some amazing history explained!
The shops, restaurants & the walk ability were all great.

My visit to Fontainebleau was to watch the Ladies Real Tennis World Championships in the Chateau. Great event , hotel was close by . The staff in the restaurants visited were all great , despite a busy Easter week with great weather and lots of tourists . Dined at both lower price and higher price restaurants .
We had a very nice stay at Palm House Sauna City.
The apartment was very clean and spacious enough for 4.
The apartment is well furnished with a bedroom and a sofa bed.
Indications to get in were timely and clear.
The location is ideal for a day trip to Fontainebleau chateau or Fontainebleau forest and has all conveniences around such as supermarkets, boulangeries, restaurants, and pharmacies.
what a question! you know when you travel somewhere with no expectations and you find out that it’s extremely exceeded your expectations! I was impressed by the little details in the apprtm. It was cosy and warm and safe. I really loved the location which is very near to everything and Château de Fontainebleau….
it’s the best place in Fontainebleau without any comparison.
Bravooooo
This hotel was literally across from the Chateau Fontainbleau, yet was actually not overpriced for what they delivered. It was very quiet, the room was quite spacious, and there was a beautiful courtyard. It was in walking distance of the town center, with access to restaurants, and shops, not to mention an excellent seafood restaurant literally across the street.
Our host Emmanuel, met us at the property and made us feel very welcome. The property is very well appointed, with well designed & kitted out kitchen, bathroom and living area. It is ideally situated, with Fontainebleau Chateau, restaurants, bakeries, grocery stores and many other amenities close by. We highly recommend staying at Coeur de Fontainebleau.
The location is very convenient: close to INSEAD and the city centre and the castle. The hotel is situated on a very quiet street, some of the rooms (and luckily mine) have a view on a charming and green garden, which could also be used by residents. The bedding and shower were comfortable and in mint condition. The breakfast was good.
Welcome, service, comfort, view, breakfast, assistance, carpark, family hotel of many generations so anecdotes of interest to share with guests. Top class..and ideal, not only for the Château de Fontainebleau but also for golfers.
I stayed at the hotel for one week while at a course in Insead. New hotel with comfortable basic rooms larger than what you usually find in France. Great location both for Insead and center. Highly recommend this hotel
The location is in center of Fontainebleau and near all the shops, grocery and restaurants (reachable in few minutes by foot).
The place has a nice style and very quiet. you feel like at home - cozy place.
The location is just perfect, everything we needed is just around the hotel. Moreover, the staff was absolutely amazing and very friendly. The room was clean and a great value for the money.
location and lobby bar is very cool
currently being renovated and the new look is modern and will look great when completed.
the bathroom is spacious and new
Everything was great !! The host is very responsive , the apartment is clean, very well located in the center of Fontainebleau! Overall it’s 10/10 for me :)
