The location was phenomenal. The veranda out side the room had a good view, was sheltered from the sun and a pleasant place to sit. The Hotel is set amongst forest and almost on the beach. The wildlife comes to you. The swimming pool has seen better days but it’s in a very special location and the capuchin monkeys regularly visit to hang out with their family. The beach is totally amazing. Manuel Antonio is only a 10 minute jaunt along the beach. This hotel is an experience in itself. Well worth a visit.

clean, air conditioning worked great, and once it was on I couldn't hear anything else. Pool looked nice although I didn't use it.

A lovely little place! It looked bigger and more lush in the photos, but the room we stayed in matched the pics exactly: it was spacious, clean, and comfortable with everything we needed. The included breakfast was delicious. Most notably, the host who helped us (I wish I'd gotten her name!) provided fabulous service with a ready smile and lovely sense of humor!

Simple in the best way. I loved my stay and will definitely be back for my next surf adventure in Costa Rica. I love camping so this was a fun upgrade to have a bed in the open air with a roof and mosquito net. Due to the access, there was hardly anyone at the beach, yet great surf. Worked on my shred every day, enjoyed their yummy meals at an additional, reasonable cost, and took a surf lesson with Miguel. He was very patient and encouraging given my novice level. He also set up a tight rope for me to practice balance, muy tuanis. They make a great team and have an awesome oceanfront place with incredible views and sunsets. Highly recommended.

Quepos is a good central location from which to do all manner of activities. I love the farmers market on Friday PM/Saturday AM. Scuba diving is just okay as the visibility even in the dry season is limited. Check out the farm tour at Villa Vanilla (they can pick up from Quepos if you don't have a car) and the bus to Manuel Antonio Park (worth the hype but buy your tickets online before you go) and all the attractions along the way is only 380 colones.

We stayed outside of Quepos which I would recommend.
We stayed outside of Quepos which I would recommend. Quepos is an authentic town to shop and eat at. We loved walking around to explore and eat. We liked the market for the shopping and the coffee shop! We were able to walk around Quepos very easily and get back to the bus downtown no problem.

The city is not big, quite busy, there are a few restaurants (some crazy expensive) and shops. Manuel Antonio Park, on the other hand, is completely overrated. I haven't seen such a crowded place in all of Costa Rica! I am disappointed and angry that I had to travel such a long way to get to an uninteresting place. I do not recommend!

The last point of our trip.
The last point of our trip. So many great things we have seen. But at the end of this incredible nature, do you have to experience this greed for money along the road to the national park? No! Just keep stopping in this country and be amazed. Quepos is not a MUST.

Quepos is super crowded and to pricy for what it offers! If you want to find some nice place nearby Quepos just have a short ride with a car and go south of Quepos to find some nice and lonely beaches!

This was our second stay at this apartment hotel. It is exceptional value in Quepos town. The area and room are very quiet. The kitchen is fully equipped. plus they also have salt an oil available for cooking. They bathroom has a lovely shower with hot water. Bed is very comfortable. The room is cleaned every day. The apartment is a quick walk to Pali, grocery store and also to the bus station. The staff are very kind and helpful. We liked it so much we stayed here twice.
It was our best hostel in Costa Rica. Pamela and Jorge are one of the best hosts we have ever experienced. At our arrival, Jorge picked us up at the busterminal and showed us nice spots in quepos + our first sloth. He also helped us to plan our activities. Breakfast is perfect, we had the chose between a traditional (gallo pinto) and a classic one (fruits eggs and toast). All in all - the best, cleanest, nicest hostel we have experienced in CR.
Breathtaking 360 degree views of an untouched mountain range. Reserve staff was incredibly friendly and accommodating, maybe the most comfortable my sister and I felt while traveling with minimal Spanish knowledge. Dinner was absolutely fabulous - best food we’ve had while traveling in Costa Rica the last two weeks. Local hiking and waterfalls are stunning!
This apartment is right by Manuel Antonio National Park and a short walk to the beach. Tons of restaurants and grocery stores right there as well. Saw monkeys from the balcony multiple days as well as on the walk to the beach. woke up to the sound of birds and howler monkeys. Gonzalo was super friendly and they cleaned the apartment every other day.
This was off the beaten path and a wonderful place to stay on the central Pacific coast outside of Quepos. Just what we were looking for to experience an authentic piece of Costa Rica. Markus, Tulio and the rest of the crew were fantastic. Beautiful grounds and an amazing place to see wildlife and natural flora.
THE beach hotel in the Manuel Antonio area. Special sunbeams and umbrellas dedicated to the hotel guests only (and free). Truly enjoyed the beach life.
Rooms and open-air restaurant with direct access to the beach.
Lots of animals on the beach, hence no need to go to the national park ;)
We stayed there for 2 times. It’s just one the best view in Costa Rica. If you want to enjoy just take Double room (Vida, Allegria) Staff was really nice. You have a waterfall without people just close to the hotel. But please ask staff how to get there. We saw a big snake and tookans 😂
I booked a private room which was basic but fine. Pedestal fan provided. Swimming pool was very warm and clean. Huge communal kitchen with plenty of crockery, cutlery, pans etc.
Nice supermarket one street away.
Unusually for a Costa Rica hostel, they accept card payment !
Private car park and clean facilities.
Access to fridge and a few kitchen stuff (plates, cutlery, kettle).
Pleasant staff who was quite flexible with our check-out.
Quiet since it is a little bit on the outskirts of Quepos, but still walking distance from everything.
Great place to just sit back relax and enjoy the nature all around you. Miguel is an amazing guy who can tell you about many things of Costa Rica! Give this a try if you'd like to disconnect from the world
Super nice hotel, with great rooms and friendly staff. The hotel has a beachfront, a restaurant with good vegan options and it’s walking distance to Manuel Antonio (10 mins tops). Definitely recommended!
Williams and Olga were super helpful and friendly. We learnt a lot about Costa Rica, its culture and cuisine (Olga cooks very well!!) We had a lovely time. thank you!!! :)
Very nice apartment in a Costa Rican neighbourhood, off the beaten track. Well equipped kitchen, clean house and air-conditioner, comfortable sofa and armchairs
