Pensacola is my hometown, The city (downtown) has undergone a major transformation over the last 1 years and is now a vibrant downtown area that is fun as well as looks great. Pensacola is a very historic city. You should check it out. My trip was to take my husky to visit friends and to also his first trip to the Gulf. Pensacola has beautiful beaches and so many pet friendly places. Pensacola Historic District is great!
Pensacola Historic District is great! We got tickets on the Hop on Hop Off and it was helpful to get a feel for the area. We ate at some of the best restaurants, The Iron, Kalbi Intchiban, O'Reily's and Nicks Boathouse. We did not have a bad meal the entire time and coming from Palm Beach, we are somewhat picky about restaurants. Getting around is really easy especially if you stay close to the historic district.
