The staffs are very courteous and allowed me to check in way early than the usual time. The location of the hotel is quite far off from the bustling areas of Batu Aji. It's quiet in the day. Not much happening in and around the hotel.

KTM resort is quite nice and relatively well-maintained. There is no beach although it may look like it from the photos, only pool. Rooms were spacious and clean, however there was no hand soap (liquid or bar) available and we had to repeatedly ask for it as if it was something special. The inflated jumping installation for kids is not working and sits in a "pool" of smelly water with mosquitos. The biggest let down was the actual location of the resort - there is absolutely nothing to do around, you can´t even go out of the resort for a walk. The nearest "city" is hideous and boring. Food in the resort is alright, they only do a la carte breakfasts that are overly expensive for what you get and staff is incredibly slow. All in all, KTM resort is fine for a weekend, do not expect anything else but good sleep and lying by the pool.

It's one of my go to hotel when I'm in Batam. The price is a bit higher in comparison to other hotels of the same ratings. But, the breakfast spread is awesome. Spacious room with super comfy and the aircon is nice and cool. The concierge and security staff never fails to great you with a smile and help you with your bags. I love how friendly and warm everyone was.

the property was renovate and v nice .classy style. what make we upset pool can’t use my daughter tried to went in pool and v dirty. make her itchy.aircon v bad.when we waited long hours fr a room then we hit room came inside aircon not cold n i called receptionist n she juz said need to wait ..later b cold .but it not cold n more worse it leaking🤦🏻‍♀️

Great value for money right next to Nagoya Hill Mall. Bed is comfortable and clean. Bathroom is clean. There is breakfast included. When I left the hotel in the afternoon, it looked like the staff prepared complimentary coffee, tea and snacks in the lobby. I booked a twin bed as it was the cheaper option, but the staff was kind enough to change/upgrade to a double bed.
