If you are staying in St Moritz Samedan is a great option because it’s cheaper, only 7 minutes away by train and many hotels are just a short walk from the railway station unlike in St Moritz where you will have to take a bus or a taxi if you have luggage to get to the hotelArunIndia - 10Scored 10

In transit from Italy to UK. Time spent was limited to hotel visit for partners birthday. The area around Samedan is absolutely beautiful. We travelled on the Bernina Express which was magnificent. Train and bus services generally are excellent, connecting with each other. Trains run on time.

Nice friendly town. Great train and bus connections. More homey feeling than St. Moritz. Scenery is stunning! Restaurants are plentiful during high seasons, but very limited in off-season, but the ones open were offering tasty food!

There is plenty of space in the apartment and everything functioned very well.
