Beautiful and a nice place to hang around. I cycled along the river Elbe, and took lots of photos of the city. The weather was good, with sun shine and blue sky, so the view was perfect. I suggest people can walk/cycle along the river, from Cathedral to Jahrtausendturm, just be enjoy the cozy. The Cathedral has a total different view b/w days and nights, so go there twice!

Magdeburg is a lovely city but there isn't too much to do/see there. You might want to visit for a day or two but it's not too spectacular. If you get there visit the Hundertwasserhaus.

Interesting city. Clean with nice places to eat - especially pan asian. Seems incredibly quiet and almost like two extra floors were built on every buiding that weren't needed. Very beautiful and historic city. It was especially beautifully decorated for the Christmas season and had an amazing Christmas market! Very goood restaurants, hotels, shopping and easy to navigate with the trams and buses. I’lll be back!

Interesting mixture of the old and new. The Stadtpark was a good contrast and a great view of the city from the top of the Albin-Müller-Turm. Easy to eat out. Slightly disappointed by the "number 1 attraction", the Grünen Zitadelle. Would have liked to take the tour, but it was only available in German so decided it was too expensive.HowardUnited Kingdom

We were travelling with our almost 3 year old and booked a family room, with the idea that we will all sleep on the normal beds. The hotel proactively prepared baby cot - this one was extremely comfortable, not like with other hotels we experienced. Very good breakfast. Around the corner from the hotel, you have various restaurants to go out for dinner. Parking is right under the hotel and you are in the middle of Magdeburg, so paid parking make sense.HelenaNetherlands

Our purpose of the stay was to see the DTM race in Oschersleben so the location was just perfect about 30min drive from the apt. Ask for a quiet room at the backside because of the noisy road at the front. We requested a double room with one big bed, but received a room with 2 separate beds. The beds were fine, room spacious. We didn't take breakfast, only coffee which was not tasty, and the price was Eur 5 for two persons. There is no minibar in the rooms, but you can buy cooled drinks at the reception.AgnesNetherlands

We were travelling with our dog and made a pre-arrangement with the hotel to take our four-legged friend with us, which was absolutely no problem. Public parking in the streets near the hotel was generally not a problem (however, don´t forget the mandatory green badge for the applicable low emission zone).
