The location is handy and the view outstanding. The rooms were a fair size for a motel, and the rooms with balcony are good to sitting out and having a drink.
Located in Bongaree in the Bribie Island region, with Bongaree Beach and Red Beach nearby, The Beach Cottage! provides accommodation with free private parking.

The location was excellent as we were going to a day long festival at Sandstone Point Hotel and the view across to Sandstone Point Hotel was very nice.
Situated in Bongaree, 400 metres from Red Beach and 2.3 km from Bongaree Beach, Island Bungalow offers air conditioning. This property offers access to a terrace and free private parking.
A good range of accommodation for all budgets. Bongaree is close to cafe's, restaurants, clubs, IGA, Woolworths, Aldi, museum and many small shops (antiques, gift, clothing etc). Loved the cafes and park around the Jetty, the seafood there was great. Went to both the Saturday & Sunday markets (north & south of the bridge respectively) and anyone with an average level of fitness can comfortably walk there and leave the car at home.

Pest control just done before entry and full of dead and dying insects. WiFi was all but non existent had to use phone data 5 of the 8 days. Booked for 4 but only given towels and linen for 2. No storage area and rented for 4 but barely enough room for 2. No grass or landscaping when we went and was a mid renovation zone the entire duration. Whole area including pool under camera surveillance 24/7.

This is a pretty part of Bribie Island with plenty of Cafes along the waterfront. It's a pity dogs aren't allowed on the beach but there are a couple of dog friendly lead-free beach areas within a short drive.

Good area Quiet easy walking with dog. $30 per night for dog which was not in original advertisement. Problem with hot water first night was fixed (water unit replaced with bigger storage as supplied both units). All good now

We found Bongaree to be a well planned, picturesque suburb.
We found Bongaree to be a well planned, picturesque suburb. Beautiful water views as you drive, plenty of cafe's and places to eat and the beaches are nice. Pet friendly accommodation, beaches and cafe's made it a true family trip. People fishing off the jetty at Scoopy's café caught a bucket full of Herring before my own eyes. Definitely a place you can unwind and relax and forget about life for a while. Scoopy's café is worth a visit.
