Location, price, availability of food. Pool complex was great, though the pool itself was slightly on the cool side for my liking.

We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing.
We went to the Parisian Art Exhibition which was amazing. The restaurant also had a French menu which was very good. Lovely staff.
The Chinese Dragon gardens & surrounding gardens were beautiful with all the fall leaves coming.
We were there Monday & Tuesday so some of the restaurants we were thinking of going to were closed those days.
The church was also closed those days.
Bendigo is a very relaxed & beautiful historic town.
We probably should have stayed another day to even see more of the nearby areas.
We had breakfast at an amazing organic restaurant that also sells fruit & vegetables. You will find it in Lyttleton Terrace. Lovely young friendly staff & tasty healthy food.

Bendigo has a great art gallery and some fantastic heritage buildings and museums. There are also good food options such as The Dispensary (highly recommend). It is a good base camp for discovering the area to visit other heritage towns.

Plenty of local attractions to see, with lots of period architecture.
Foodies are very well catered for with abundant little restaurants all through the city centre and some amazing menu items.
Two recommendations are the Golden Square Hotel (I ordered Thia Red Duck Curry, which was very nice. But when I saw the Chef's special for the night coming out - Porterhouse Steak and Pot/Glass of wine $28 - I wished I had ordered that instead.
The other one is Sim'r in Hargreaves St, which has some amazing things on the menu and make in-house a range of amazing breads

Borchelli Italian restaurant is great, with excellent meals and desserts. Bendigo Art Gallery is worth a visit, with the current Paris: Impressions of Life exhibition. The Hat Shop is also fun, with a huge selection of hats. The Australian Eucalyptus Oil Company has a good selection of products for gifts, plus plenty of shops to suit all tastes.
This cottage is an absolute gem. It is a beautifully renovated property and was a delight to stay in. Everything that you needed had been provided by the owner. The beds were very comfortable and the house was very quiet. The outside deck area was the perfect place for breakfast. Having Percy and Percy cafe across the road was fabulous and the Lake View Hotel around the corner on the main road was a bonus and we can also recommend the local pizza parlour. Walking into Bendigo CBD was a very easy walk.
My recent stay at Bendigo All Seasons was absolutely outstanding. From the moment I arrived, the hotel staff provided a warm welcome and attentive service. The room was spacious, clean, and well-equipped with modern amenities. The bistro was excellent, offering a diverse menu of delicious dishes. The staff provided exceptional service and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort. Good old fashioned customer service with a smile. Highly recommended.
Described as “Maisonette Suites” there are six of these fairly small rooms in the centre of Bendigo
Ideally situated for great exploration of the city.
Although small they have all that is need for one or two people.
The bathroom in our room was very small and made having a shower an exciting prospect, but it works.
Reasonably priced for its location it is recommended.
Absolutely gorgeous!
Hotel Ernest blew us away. The old bank has been renovated into a stunning Bendigo escape. The service is exceptional and we could not recommend it highly enough. We were able to walk everywhere, from the theatre to dinner and through the gorgeous gardens that are right next door.
We cannot wait to come back and stay again!
Thank you Hotel Ernest!
Barb and the team run a tight ship. we felt welcome and comfortable. the rooms were immaculate, and small touches like fresh milk over UHT were great. felt more like a fancy hotel than a motel!! Importantly our son also Loved the basketball hoop!! we’ll return in warmer weather to make the most of the lovely pool!
A very lovely property with true character features. The little extras such has milk/coffee capsules/choc bars / was a bonus.
Property was very secure for my small dogs. An easy 10 minute walk to a great hotel "Brougham Arms" where they serve excellent and close to Bendigo main town.
Beautifully renovated cottage so much more inviting and cosy than hotel rooms generally on offer. Large walk in showers, comfy beds and heating. Fully equipped kitchen & laundry etc - perfect for a longer stay. Well located with cafe across the road and pub around the corner.
This historic hotel in the heart of Bendigo is perfectly located and , despite the hotels age, rooms and ammenities have been kept modern without compromising the period style of the building. We stayed in the Dame Nellie Melba Suite and loved it.
The motel is centrally located to Bendigo Central, great restaurants etc. Easy parking and very comfy bed. The spa which lovely. Very comfortable. The unit even had a toaster and cutlery. And a microwave.. Perfect. oh and secure
Roomy apartment with great facilities.
Quiet but central city location. I had no car and used public transport.
Bendigo attractions and hospitality were a great experience and the purpose of our visit.
Very comfortable, clean and well-maintained room. The staff are very friendly and check in and check out was easy. The air conditioning was great. Definitely my choice of hotel when visiting Bendigo.
this hotel is always our favourite to stay at. We have stayed here 3 times before. The beds at the Bendigo Mercure are the comfiest bed I have ever slept in. The staff are always willing to help you.
