Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours...
Paimpol is a large town compared with many of its neighbours. There are plenty of shops and restaurants but we did not find any outstandingly good. It came to life on the Tuesday with a very large market which occupies several streets and squares in the town. The bars were full and the atmosphere was lively.

It is “downtown” so noisier at night. Well worth exploring the coastal walking route GR34, north & south from the town. Treguier easy bus ride (though not frequent). Plenty of places to eat nearby. The host was friendly and helpful. It had a refrigerator and dishes available. This made it possible to eat breakfast in the room.
